The Service Coordinator we worked with… The Service Coordinator we worked with - Mary Kate Watson was awesome! She was always available to answer questions and when I had issues downloading documents, she would allow me to send them to her directly. She made the process very easy. The only negative thing we experience was the funding. It took longer than normal to get are proceeds. We got approved right in the middle of the debt ceiling limit debate and I am sure investors were worried about letting go of money just in case the debt ceiling wasn't raised. Shortly after it was announced that the debt ceiling was going to be raised, we received our funds. Moving forward, I just believe that once someone is approved, that money needs to be readily available. Outside of that, I have nothing bad to say about our experience.

The Lion Man Make sure the person ready Appraisel knows what they are doing, mine was miss read- saying i only had 1250 square feet living space. The Person reading the apprasial Missed the 1250 square feet of the lower floors. Our house is 5 bed rooms with 3 full baths- kitchen -living room- family room -large laundry room and finished storage room. So 13 different rooms that first person reading the apprasial said was only 1250 Foot -that would be average of about 96 square feet per room. Or rather about 8 feet by 8 feet each room. Had to get own apprasial done- send that in adn then suddenly yes house had double ther living space, yet apprasils were written basically the same- aside from that reast of process went smothly!

Couldn’t Be Happier! The help and individual attention I received from Unison was truly terrific! Can’t say enough good things about how responsive, kind and patient my rep, Eugene K, was throughout the process. I highly recommend him. Now, my life, home and credit score have dramatically improved for the better. I’m out of debt, my badly deteriorating home is good as new, and my daughter’s wedding paid for! All due to Unison. Again, I couldn’t be happier and will remain ever grateful!

Waiting on funding Waiting on funding. Have called 10 times and left messages , sent countless emails. I have no other options. It's been over a month since closing. They keep saying someone will reach out but no one ever does. STEER CLEAR of this company. They will keep you waiting forever after you sign your documents **Update: Almost 2 weeks after Unison responded below I finally got through to them (they never called me). They said they don't know when I'll be funded, and they have no estimation.

Great option for using the equity in my home The whole process went smoothly from start to finish. I am on a fixed income (SS) so being able to take some equity out of my home without taking on an additional payment was perfect for my situation. I also was able to pay off my car loan which significantly reduced my bills each month and I still put a bit of money in savings for emergencies. Everyone at Unison was great to work with. It was a great experience and I have already recommended Unison to a few of my friends who own houses.
