The company in the background, so to speak. Stay away if you don't want to lose money. See the reviews for sobenewyork.com here on trustpilot. booking.com, i.e. not the one who caused the damage (Corphousing or SobeNewYork), has now partially compensated for the damage. It took a lot of persistence. Over 20 emails, some chats and phone calls. However, SobenewYork and/or CorphousingGroup still owes me around 220USD in additional costs.

ITAVOID! IT'S A SCAM! AVOID! IT'S A SCAM! I had already written a review about this company, but somehow they managed to reset their profile and remove all the 1-star reviews... so I'm writing it again to warn people about this company. As far as I understand, now they renamed themselves LuxUrban Hotels. I had booked an apartment in Seattle in August 2022. Less than a week before check-in my reservation was deleted due to unspecified problems (and only because I asked for some info, if not, I'd have probably went there only to find nothing...). In the email they stated that I would have had a full refund of what I had paid (around 1500$). It took me three months to receive the full refund, and only because I bombed them with emails, left bad reviews on every website I could find and reported the to FCT and FBI. It was impossible to communicate with them: they don't have a customer service, and only work via email. Whenever I sent an email, I got a standard text as a response ("your refund will be issued in 30 days") and never had an answer to my questions. Only after leaving a bad review here I was contacted by a real person and managed to get a full refund in a few days. I wonder what happens to those who don't leave bad reviews... they probably just lose their money!
