GBNot a great experience We used Airhost's full management service while we were travelling for three months. I'll start with the positives. Airhost were generally easy to get hold of and their staff were all friendly. They provided an initial property visit to give advice on how to prepare the property, and the photos and advert they produced for the property looked good. We were also surprised by the nightly rate we could get for our flat. When we returned from travelling our flat was very clean, as we had left it. However, there were a number of areas where we felt let down. 1) We received several reviews with negative feedback on their stays as a result of Airhost not doing their job as well as they should around the check-in process. For example, basic things like guests not being told the flat number or how to access the parking area (both on more than one occasion). 2) Because of this, we weren't able to completely switch off from looking after the property while we were away, and on several occasions had to answer questions from airhost that we had addressed before. We also no doubt lost out on income as a result of some less than positive reviews. 3) Airhost's pricing structure is quite opaque, and given the issues we experienced with Airhost's management, didn't feel like good value for money. All in, for the full management service including tax, we paid around 30% of our earnings (EDIT: to be clear, this because the 18% quoted doesn’t include a load of additional charges, as well as VAT). I haven't done a like-for-like comparison with other companies so I'm not sure if that's expensive, but it's worth being aware that's what it adds up to. Some of the fees also feel unnecessary and petty. For example, a £9.99 annual fee to write welcome messages to guests feels petty relative to a property being let out for £200 a night; and a £25 monthly replenishment charge, which is charged whether the property is booked for one night in a month or the whole month. We were also told that we'd have to pay an extra £100 for them to send us electronic copies of the photos they took of our property. Based on this experience, I'd find it hard to recommend Airhost's services, unfortunately.

GBRude Staff I reported a broken item in the first week of a long-term stay in a property managed by Airhost, but it was never replaced. On top of this, they have a very rude and incompetent employee called Jessica that I wouldn't want the displeasure of dealing with again.

GBDo not use Airhost for you Do not use Airhost for you. Dreadful service, given incorrect code so could not access apartment in agreed manner (owner then seemed more bothered about arguing how long we were waiting, rather than apologising for their error), Main bedroom window would not close so driving rain came in and damaged the window sill and out belongings (host more bothered about arguing rather than having fixed - apparently they are only liable if something wrong in apartment is reported immediately!) We left a set of keys, charged £25 to send from Brighton to London via post. Would not reason on email and argumentative. Clearly "customer is not always right" in their eyes. Avoid at all costs.

GBWe have been consistently impressed… We have been consistently impressed with the level of professionalism and care shown to us, and our home, by the team at Airhost For You. We've been happy clients of theirs for several years now, long enough to empirically state- they are fantastic! It is greatly reassuring to have such support. Thank you Airhost!

GBI used Airhost For You for a couple of… I used Airhost For You for a couple of years as my local Airbnb hosting company. They took care of everything from bookings, cleaning, problems - everything. I would totally recommend them as that local knowledge and team is far more important and reactive than other national hosting companies I could mention...
