I've been a loyal listener to this podcast since 2016 and recently I made the choice to sign up for the Speaker Lab's Get Booked and Paid to Speak coaching program. It's been the best decision I've made for my career as a speaker. I thought I knew what I was doing and what it took to be a professional speaker, but the truth was I didn't. I didn't know how to craft my talk, how to use systems to stay organized, how to contact and follow up with leads to turn prospects into satisfied paying customers, and all the other hundreds of little things a professional speaker needs to do on a daily basis. Great, practical info from webinar I attended a free webinar with Brittany Richmond and was blown away by the amount of practical information she shared. I have three pages of notes! Just from what I learned in that webinar, I feel that I can launch a speaking career.

The Speaker Lab is Living Up to Its Claims! I am in the middle of my journey through The Speaker Lab. Thus far I have found everyone to be enthusiastic, very helpful and encouraging. The website is easy enough to navigate. The lessons are clear and mostly informative. Some of the early lessons were not useful to me as I am not a beginner and I already know my topic and audience. However, other lessons hit the spot! One of the most valuable aspects of this program is getting to know other speakers, and connecting with those in my industry. Great connections! Just taking the step to join upleveled my mindset and I got 2 paid speaking opportunities out-of-the-blue within a month of joining, without barely even trying! I'm looking forward to what I can accomplish once I have all the tools and resources under my belt.
