Datamaster was the perfect product for… Datamaster was the perfect product for me. WAS. They rolled out a new platform and the new platform is awful. It is an awkward interface. It makes numerous errors like entering "BusyRd" for a comparable that is in the middle of a platted subdivision. That is just an example. There are many more. The old platform was simple and accurate. The new platform is a failure. Awkward interface, inflexible and makes many mistakes. I am going to try Spark or Anow software. If you are using the original DataMaster platform I envy you. But beware, the new platform will be coming for you soon. Signed, computer savvy guy

Data Master is great, but... Data Master is great, but...! The key is, it saves you time and helps to create accuracy. The only issue I've had is the 1004MC. The good news is that at some point it won't be required by lenders, but I do NOT want to see it disappear in Data Master as it's valuable for determining some adjustments like time and differences in neighborhood values (Location adjustments). Depending on the settings, it can give conflicting results in the "listing" results when compared with other 1004MC programs like ARMLS.

When adding comparables to a report the… When adding comparables to a report the entire first page of entrees vanishes. This make datamaster worthless as it takes more time to re type the first page of report. SFREP is my software.

I've called twice about problems with… I've called twice about problems with the way the MLS information transfers to my ACI and both times it was not helpful. Data master does not input in some of the UAD format on the grid, such as site size includes a comma (UAD format does not allow commas) and the "Effective Date of Data Source" does not include a zero for months 01 to 09. Along with a few other items, that I have to immediately fix. It would also be nice if you included the cost approach like Spark does. To be honest, once Spark is available to ACI users I may switch over. Its not only less per month but includes the cost approach.

Very happy with DataMaster Very happy with DataMaster. Excellent service and I've dealt with two employees there that were excellent, as well: Richard Rogers & Joanna Denos. I've recommended DataMaster to every appraiser I know & I'll continue to use it. Very honest company, with the bookkeeping/accounting. I do hope their technology gets better with GPAR forms. 5 Stars!
