A Great Store with a Great Team We experienced a great customer service experience. The crew went above and beyond to get our small item moved from another store to the new space in Bangor. While we miss having the old store in Orono, the new space is roomy and the team remains a real high point.

Alpenglow Adventure Sports -thumbs up! Alpenglow Adventure Sports has all that I am looking for in rock and ice climbing gear and supplies. The website is easy to navigate and my order was processed and shipped within a few days! I also found the staff highly knowledgeable and professional in assisting me with my gear selection(s).

Slow shipping, low inventory, terrible UI Shipping time was slow (2 weeks to receive), and the website is simply unusable. I've never seen a less usable search feature, and the item tagging is super inconsistent and not helpful (e.g.: when searching for a headlamp, using the tag "bright" returns a bunch of things that aren't related to headlamps). Consequently, your only real option to find what your looking for is to scroll through their entire inventory. I would give 1 star except they're a small business and likely don't have a ton of money to invest in technology, and because despite the terrible website they gave a 40% discount coupon which "saved" me money on gear I would not otherwise have purchased.
