I got a shipping confirmation on some… I got a shipping confirmation on some shoes that the company no longer makes—lots of Internet shopping to locate in the first place—but then right after that, I received a notice that said my item was out of stock. Bogus.

I have been shopping Alpenglow for 5+… I have been shopping Alpenglow for 5+ years now and will continue to endorse them for gear needs. Highly recommend!

Maine Shop Had The Item I Needed! I was so happy to find the item my family member asked for on this Maine store's website! I live in nearby New Hampshire and was glad to support a New England business! Great selection of outdoor gear.

Slow shipping, low inventory, terrible UI Shipping time was slow (2 weeks to receive), and the website is simply unusable. I've never seen a less usable search feature, and the item tagging is super inconsistent and not helpful (e.g.: when searching for a headlamp, using the tag "bright" returns a bunch of things that aren't related to headlamps). Consequently, your only real option to find what your looking for is to scroll through their entire inventory. I would give 1 star except they're a small business and likely don't have a ton of money to invest in technology, and because despite the terrible website they gave a 40% discount coupon which "saved" me money on gear I would not otherwise have purchased.
