GBOptibike is reliable biking partner; builds high quality bikes A year ago I found Optibike and decided the best bike for me was the Rocky Mountain Commuter. It arrived July 31, 2018 in perfect condition and after a battery charge I began a summer of great rides on the hills and trails around Madison, WI. The bike came with every useful accessory needed; LED headlight, integrated rack with removable pannier, rear view mirror, bell, fenders, tail light, comfortable seat, and a powerful 500 watt mid-drive that handled every hill I encountered. Owner Jim Turner managed all the details in developing my purchase, and as an added bonus shipped me a free second 37 V. Li-ion battery. I get lots of comments from other riders about the attractiveness of my Rocky Mountain Commuter bike. I am very pleased with with all aspects of my purchase and riding experience with my RMC Optibike.

GBpro forms as advertised pro forms as advertised the roloff 14 speed hub does take a few miles to'wear in' have got as many as 50 miles out of a charge the fenders are kinda cheesy rear fender was easily broken the front was removed because of clearance difficulties... any mud or gravel would grind between the tire and the fender... changes i would make... gates belt drive the worst problem is parking... bike thieves deserve a slow death !!!

GBTop-of-line, high-powered e-bike; with room for even greater innovation Pro's: Powerful and fast, sturdy and well-built (in USA) with high quality parts; good range and great hill-climbing ability; friendly, excellent and responsive service and back-up (Thanks, Jim!); 8 years and still running strong! Con's: can be unstable due to slightly high center of gravity (R15, especially if using range-extending 2nd battery off seat stem tube); gearing seems too low on my model, for my use and comfort, which makes it difficult to pedal (and work-out) when using power assist at faster speeds (a higher/wider gear range would add more versatility).

GBOptiBike Review Many years ago my sister blessed me with my first Optibike it was used a 2009 to be exact. It arrived in around two weeks from purchasing date. When it did I was unfamiliar with it and broke the chin almost instantly. I call in and they sent me not only the chain but also the sprocket set for free however he did tell me to take it a little easier on it and i did. It served me well for many years riding it from full charge which at the time was about 50 miles. I have recently ordered another one that battery is over 300 miles. I have done my research and in my studies I have not found another EBike that goes as far or preforms anything close to it. Costumer service is always very polite and informative. The owner that I have talked to many times he is actually getting ready to send me his personal bike right now with the 300+ battery on it to save me alittle money and a respect that very much and it is very rare especially this day in time. God Bless everyone there they are doing a great job and I personally would not change a thing. LoVe Always, Brother Bruce Dunkin

GBOptibike is the best USA made bicycle… Optibike is the best USA made bicycle company there is Bar non. The CEO (Jim) is super nice and helpful. Customer support is top notch. I like it so much I owned 3 of there bikes. I have The original 400R (10yrs old And still working fine) Optibike, Which lead me to purchase the newer R8 for myself and the Pioneer Allroad For my wife. It’s expensive but is a very good investment that will last you a very very long time. Hope this help those who are on the side line wanting to purchase an Optibike.
