BEWARE BEWARE! Getaroom.com is an illegitimate business. Just reported them to Better Business. They go by many names, I booked through their alias Guest Reservations. They are owned by Bookings Holdings. They show the same price as everyone else but when the charge goes through it was $200 dollars more and non refundable 10 minutes after the booking. No other site was non refundable for this hotel for that night and every other site said the taxes were $57. I was booking for my daughter who was attending a funeral of a 20 year old friend. No hotel should be allowing this company to book their rooms.

If I had booked the hotel direct this would have been over £100 cheaper! Please be aware of using this company! No refund but As to my complaint regarding Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees. Can confirm a satisfaction with a positive resolution has been accepted . As to your Customer Service Department with Getaroom, I thank you!

Misleading price quoted Searched for a hotel using Google. This looked like the official website for the hotel I was looking for. Appeared to quote £95 for 2 days I wanted. Accepted that and booked/paid. £191 taken out Hotel rooms £126.80 Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees £65.04 Amount Paid £191.84 Tried immediately to cancel but told nonrefundable. £126 for the rooms is actually reasonable but the extra charges are ridiculous! #####update##### Contacted by customer services who offered some compensation due to lack of clarity. They were very quick to respond to review. Updated to 3* due to that response. I will have to pay a lot more attention in future.

Beware!! Beware!!! We booked a room thinking we were booking through Hampton Inn. Canceled the reservation 15 minutes after booking and was told they were taking one night cost as a fee. Just tried calling again and they won’t even answer the phone unless you want to make a new reservation. This is unprofessional and a scam.

Getaroom.com Saved Me Money Getaroom.com has great customer service, which isn't easy to find these days. I originally had a issue that was mostly my fault for not paying attention to details, and they made it right. Ultimately saving me money overall which is the core of their business.
