NEVER EVER AGAIN They only protect the host. Please never choose HomeToGo. The host made a false advertisement, never mentioned that he would also be on the property, and never mentioned that there is a construction site on the property nor in the details neither in our conversation. He wrote "Perfect place for romantic holidays with sauna and jacuzzi" My question how it can be a romantic holiday when the freaking sauna (this is also what he advertised) is in the second cabinet that he will be staying in? Are we supposed to use it all together? And how am I supposed to feel comfortable when another man is on the property working on the pathway or in the garden or even just staying there? How can that be labeled as a romantic holiday? And since this was false advertising and we didn't want to stay with a stranger we wanted our money back, the host first said he would do it but he has to wait till Saturday (the end of our booking) so I wanted to make him sign a paper saying he will pay it since he said he will pay it. He got aggressive after that. Started yelling at us. So he never wanted to pay anyway. So my question is, are you really willing to use a platform that only cares about the hosts even though they made - false advertisement - hostile behavior - no privacy policy to protect the guests. I contacted the customer support 4 times. 4 freaking times. My money is gone. I couldn't do any holiday. And the only reason for this is HomeToGo not being professional enough to protect the customers. I don't even talk about the host I'm pretty sure he has mental issues.

I attempted to request the Eggo house and was ignored. I attempted to request the Eggo house, I made two attempts. First one no response, even after speaking to someone and requesting a call back. No word, just told later nothing was possible. Try once more to book for the following week and I get some auto generated thing telling me no. It feels like discrimination to me.

Be warned that this is just a platform… Be warned that this is just a platform and they use 2nd and even 3rd party affiliates who they then have no control over. Luckily I questioned my reservations before the dates and found out there was no actual location anymore. Caused a great deal of extra time, stress and money to sort it out. Will never use again!
