I didn’t know that Best Western… I’ve stayed at multiple Best Western Hotels up and down the east coast and in Phoenix. I can say that their hotels have been a great value and pretty unique. I did not know that each hotel is independent and not owned by a huge corporation, but instead individual small businesses that join Best Western as members not franchises. I got to know a couple owners in my travels and they all work extremely hard to operate their businesses. I really appreciate giving back to the little guy especially when our economy is struggling.

Management of Rewards Points Sucks Liked: Best Western Plus motels rooms and breakfast Disliked: Best Western Rewards Program management. It is difficult to check status and rewards points totals are not given. I realize they have MBA's and possibly PhD's trying to minimize the points. I cannot see when points expire, or my total points. I just had a good experience with IHG Group (Hilton) rewards program and will favor them in the future. Staybridge Suites and Hotels.com is earning my business. I recently got 2 free nights! I quit using Marriott because they seemed to have closed most restaurants and rewards points policies are too one-sided.

Very disappointing " 4 star" hotel Poor standard of reception area and stairs.Paint chipped, steep stairs overused as lifts minimal. Ridiculously long corridor to room . (200 steps) Failed shower, failed again despite being mended Painting outside our room leaving smell and intrusion of workmen by windows. Lack of apology when complained. Poor choice of evening meal. Hotel looked from outside as if it was 60s flat block waiting for demolition. Nothing inside compensated! Our last stay was at best western , delightful and well maintained in Nimes , what a contrast! NB staff ( excluding manager) were all pleasant, breakfast good especially fresh fruit.

Since the new management took over the… Since the new management took over the hotel is going down hill fast. 2 times they charged us extra for no reason and when we complaint about it to the customer service, they played down, but the fact it is illegal to charge my credit card without letting me know. You better find another hotel that cares about their customers. Be careful and verify your credit card.

Best at What? Best Western Clemson SC area. Room so contaminated opened windows, slept on short sofa. Staff could care less. Bed so painful, could not use. Best Western Provo Utah--- contaminants so thick on floor threw out my shoes. Asbestos? I was not feeling well with injured eye, horrible contamination.
