GBSCAM SCAM My father wanted to get my children a gift card to a water park at a ski resort for Christmas. He tried to purchase it directly from the ski resort but accidentally got it from Liftopia. When he spoke to them they falsely represented themselves as the ski resort and told him that the gift card would work at the water park. It turns out that the water park does not except Liftopia gift cards. We have attempted to contact Liftopia several times and they will not give him a refund. Liftopia is clearly not a reputable company. We are not wealthy people and lossing $350 to these crooks is a substantial financial blow this time of year.

GBDon't expect help or even a little sympathy Same story for me. My son got sick in middle of the night at a motel near Sugarloaf. Got home early morning on the planned ski day. Doctor said he didn't need to come in unless temp jumped. 6 days of flu followed. No doctor visit so no documentation. Liftopia didn't even respond after I wrote them explaining the details. Maybe I should have offered to show the phone records to the hotel desk at 3:00 am. Maybe I should have gotten a deposition from the lady in Kingfield who sold me coffee and Advil at 4:30 am. Or maybe, Liftopia could get a lot better at customer service because they just lost another customer.

GBDO NOT USE LIFTOPIA DO NOT USE LIFTOPIA! Liftopia and its customer service is atrocious. I purchased two 2-day passes to Jay Peak for March 2020. The mountain closed early due to COVID-19 and we were issued a credit. We are now trying to use this credit for Jay Peak again in 2021 and the mountain is not available on their site. I requested a refund since they have virtually zero options to use the credit this year and they refused. I've also read of Liftopia potentially being forced into Bankruptcy because they are not paying the mountains.

GBTHANK YOU LIFTOPIA! We got ski tickets about a week and a half ago, not knowing about the big snow storm coming. It said on the tickets that it was not refundable however we called anyways, as we were not able to make it due to the roads not being plowed. I was connected to Shawn from Liftopia and while he was not able to refund the tickets, he was able to let us use our tickets on a different day. He was very polite and professional! We will always use Liftopia! Thanks Shawn :)

CAAmerican company selling Canadian lift tickets in US dollars. Misleading consumers First off shame on me for not checking the fine print in the FAQ sheet. However i stupidly assumed that since i was purchasing lift tickets for a Canadian owned and operated resort that the price would be charged on my credit card in Canadian funds. NOT So, imagine my surprise after clicking on complete transaction that my tickets had been converted to US. No discount here in fact i ended up paying more. Liftopia took my complaint but that was it, no credit. Never ever using their service again. Liftopia you need to be more transparent and clearly state that all transactions are in US before we hit the purchase button.
