Unless you are a clairvoyant resort prices may be cheaper. I recently had to leave a resort early and everyone refunded the unused portion of what I had purchased. The hotel waived its refund policy without me asking. Rental people only charged me for one day. Liftopia would not even allow me to change the date. They will only do anything if you know about unforseen circumstances two full days in advance! 103Granted a cancellation may cost Liftopia something, but not the full price. Don't take the chance of having to pay much more than the resort price.

If choice btwn buying from Liftopia and … If choice btwn buying from Liftopia and the actual mtn - buy through the actual mtn. Price was the same for both - however on a rain out, the mtn allowed me to purchase a different day and and get a refund on the rain out day. Liftopia would not allow me to switch days - $90 lost b/c I bought from Liftopia instead of directly through the mtn. Why would I ever use Liftopia again?

No power - no credit for a different day We purchased tickets for the Mount Shasta ski park. The power is out at the resort and they don't know when power will be restored, meaning that the resort is currently closed. However, liftopia says the power may come on at some point during their operating hours today so we cannot transfer our booking to tomorrow. We are not even asking for a refund just to switch to a day when the resort is open with power. Very frustrating, I would not recommend making the purchase with liftopia.

Bad business. Buy direct! Bad business. Had a group of friends planning to take a trip to Colorado from the East coast. When Corona hit, we were able to get fully refunded for our VRBO and the tickets we bought directly from the resorts, but liftopia could only refund in "credits." That would be fine if the group of us lived nearby and could reuse them but at this point, we would have to plan a completely different trip in order to get our money out of it. Cannot recommend. Definitely try & buy tickets from the vendors instead.

Evan Reece is a P.O.S. First and foremost: for everyone who's struggling with Liftopia's customer service, simply dispute the charges with your credit card. I won't reiterate what everyone else is saying regarding their poor customer service because it's not actually their fault. It is actually their P.O.S. CEO Evan Reece's fault. Instead of doing the right thing during a time of crisis, Evan directed all accounts to be frozen and issued credits when money is what people are needing right now during this pandemic. Well unfortunately this horrible decision is backfiring since they are going to lose all credibility and we will NEVER use their services again. The icing on the cake is how horribly Evan Reece and the rest of Liftopia's C-Suite "professionals" are laying off their employees. History will not look down upon your decisions kindly.
