One week trip to London Don't be fooled by the good price! The Scepture representative "Carmen" misspelled my name which thru everything into chaos! Our flights we were told to book independently to assure seating together took our money (Virgin) $100.00 and failed to assign our seats because of the misspelled name even though I contacted Scepture to fix the problem. Our hotel was under management change and our week was on the floor they were gutting with no heat. They moved us unexpectedly on the 5th day when we were on a tour. They gave us 10 minutes to pack our bags! Our tour trips with Evan Evans is in a bus with NO BATHROOMS and 2 of the trips were in excess of 12 hrs. People were peeing in their seats because the driver and tour guide shamed you into having to stop! We felt herded like cattle and treated the same! The drivers of the couches and the tour guides complained non stop about the traffic and their employers, Evan Evans, for those who understood English. They evan counted how their risk of demeaning their employer was. E.g.: 56 percent don't speak English or are in the back so it's okay to talk smack about Evan Evans. And to think we paid 4 years saving for this! This is probably just a format to ere your grievances but I happen to know some very important people and they will spread the word for us. Try the company Pret A Manger. Our VERY good friends. I hope you resolve your problems!!

Be very careful with bookings I was disappointed with Sceptre Travel. I asked to be booked in Ashford Castle and only through my own due diligence did I realize that the Sceptre agent booked me in the Lodge at Ashord Castle, which is very different than the Castle itself. More care should be taken by agents when booking.

Sceptre offers a good vacation at an affordable price. This is my third vacation with Sceptre Tours and on the whole we have been very pleased. I am very familiar with Europe (grew up over there as a child) so I generally just use the company for booking my airline/ship transportation along with hotel and car rental reservations. I plan and mange my own itinerary once we reach our vacation spot. Sceptre has always provided me with courteous booking service, affordable prices and hotel accomodations that have been most acceptable.

Nothing good to say about this company Nothing good to say about this company. We were in Scotland and Ireland for 21 days. Every time we tried to check into our hotels we were told there was no reservation for us. It got old real quick and was a problem throughout our entire trip.

Ireland Trip 1. We stayed in 5 different hotels during our Ireland trip. Three of them were excellent! The Muckross House, the Heritage Killenard, and the Kilronan Castle were all excellent. The Clayton Hotel in Galway was in need of some serious renovation. Poor bedding and noisy surroundings. The Fitzpatrick Hotel is old, damp, and musty; and the customer service was not good at all. We sat in the restaurant for almost an hour one evening and were never waited on. When we told the receptionist the next morning, she told us that rarely happened and really didn't believe us. 2. The Heritage Killenard never received our paperwork for our reservation, but everything ended well because we brought our own copies. 3. I would have been a little happier if we had received our documents a little sooner. However, everything worked out well and there was always a representative available to help with any questions.
