embracing the unexpected.. we recently traveled on go bus for the first time..unfortunately, due to my husband having a medical emergency, we only managed to be on the bus for about two hours..we had no choice but to ask the bus driver to stop and request an ambulance.. our driver, ramon, was cool, calm and collected and we were transported and in the local hospital emergency room in about fifteen minutes..i can’t say enough how much we appreciate the professionalism and compassion that was shown..

Bus broke down… LONG wait! Bus from Manhattan to Boston broke down in Seacaucus, NJ, at beginning of trip. Driver noticed some weird smoke coming from rear wheels, but dispatcher told him to leave anyway. Now waiting for about two hours on NJ Tnpk. for replacement bus. Academy/Go Buses are too old and not maintained. Better to use the train!

Poor customer service I would give a zero star if I could. Perhaps the customer service people had a lot of bad experience with their customers in general. But even so, that does not give you an excuse to be rude to other customers. After reading hundreds of other reviews about go bus on yelp that their experience riding buses (i.e. waiting for more than an hour, driver not knowing the route, and on and on) were often horrible, I am determined to never use their service again. Yes, not everything can be perfect and bus fares a lot cheaper than train tickets, but there are about 10 other options to choose.

Awesome experience! My Round trip from Providence, RI to Manhattan, NY was a great experience. I would definitely recommend riding with Go Buses! The tickets are affordable, bus is very clean, seats are comfortable, and the driver is very friendly! I would definitely recommend downloading the app as well as it makes purchasing tickets extremely easy. I also love the feature on the app that helps you locate where your bus is going to be parked. I can't wait to go on another trip with Go Buses wonderful service.

The bus driver got lost The bus driver got lost - he did not know where the pick-up spot was in MD. This resulted in us taking a 45 min detour, which caused us to hit NYC rush hour and I missed Valentine's Day dinner reservations with my boyfriend which was the entire reason I was traveling up there anyways. Very upset with this service, and will not be using this company again.
