Dissapointed! Ordered a set of roof bars 14 days ago… Ordered a set of roof bars 13 days ago and the dispatch timescale was 2-3 working days. 5 days passes and no dispatch notification so I put a contact request through the website and got a response the item was out of stock but there was an alternative. Replied almost immediately to ask if there was a price difference and to ask for dispatch timescale. this was 8 days ago. Haven't had a response from the company since and no dispatch notification. I paid by credit card but can't dispute the transaction until 30days has passed. This is not good customer service and I need those roof bars! @carracks.co.uk contact me and get this resolved and I will consider revising my review and rating!

Scam company AVOID Scam company AVOID Order ref -CR6028 Company take payment for items that are not in stock , no communication, had to constantly chase via email as phone lines are fake and not answered . Only got my money back because I payed via PayPal and raised a claim against them . Please don’t use this Irish based firm , there are plenty of other companies who are are legitimate

Top firm Top firm. I ordered a kayak on the 25/2/24 and it appeared at my door on the 28/2/24 in perfect brand new condition. Got my aqua marina memba 330 Kayak for £60.00 less than what other sellers were selling it for online and there was no delivery fee. Definitely using car racks again, and thanks to Ryan and the team for such a great experience and really making my day.

Dreadful Do read and take note of previous reviews. This company is dreadful. Operates under several names, no contact phone number, listed as a London address but operating out of Ireland. Ordered an item, received a tracking number but didn’t work when I went onto the courier website (random courier that isn’t well known). Sent 3 emails to Car Racks customer service and got no response. Was about to open a query with PayPal, 10 days later my order suddenly arrived, after the date I needed it for. Too late to use the items now but can’t be bothered with the battle to try and return as there’s just no response from these cowboys! Pay a bit more and buy from a reputable business.

Non Existent Returns Policy Absolutely terrible. Bought Qashqai racks which were delivered to wrong address and eventually turned up after Parcel Force chased the package down. I’d already bought another set from a different supplier and asked to return the racks which turned up late under their “no quibble” returns policy in unopened packaging and within 28 days of receipt. Zero responses to emails, no calls answered or returned and I ended up with a second set of bars that were now useless. Wouldn’t touch this lot again.
