GBI brought my car in for a rotation and… I brought my car in for a rotation and balance. Waited 30 minutes and was told that the car was done. I get out to the car, hop in and could tell immediately that the tires weren't rotated or balanced. The right rear tire was patched a few weeks back, that patched tire was still on the right rear. The had me wait in the waiting room and did nothing. So dishonest. Will not be going back... Zero stars.

GBI've dealt with Hogan Tires for several… I've dealt with Hogan Tires for several years and am usually very satisfied. However, this last visit was quite UNsatisfactory!. I had a 12:00 PM appointment to purchase 4 new Blizzak snow tires. I arrived on time and planned to return to pick up my car in an hour's time. When I arrived at 1:15 PM, I was told that the car was not yet ready. My car was eventually ready at 3:00 PM. I had to wait 3 hours to have 4 tires put on. Totally ridiculous. I must say that the Service Mrg. was apologetic and polite.

GBTire fell off I am only writing this review so that it doesn't happen to anyone else. Hogan and Sons replaced my brakes, rotors and replaced two tires. I drove my car for a weekend and had to return it for the tires to be balanced. it wasn't riding right. They said the tires were out of balance, so they balanced them. This was a Tuesday. I didn't drive my car on Wednesday. On Friday, three of my lug nuts fell off and I almost lost my tire. I had to have it repaired in PA. When I called them to tell them what happened, not much happened. So I called the next day and spoke to the manager. He did not apologize, all he said was that they looked at the tape and it was not their fault. I asked whose fault it was then and he had no answer. They didn't offer anything to me. Not compensation, apology or any other explanation. I will not be returning to them for service in the future.

GBFishing for a sale I've bought tires and wheels from Hogan in Beverly for over 30 years. Today I went in for a simple wheel/tire swap (winter to summer), something Hogan has done for me on my cars for years. For the first time ever, 3 of the staff inspected my summer tires and claimed they were dangerous with early 'dry rot' detected and refused to swap the tires, suggesting I needed 4 new ones. The date code was Feb-16, making the tires 8 years old. They claimed that DOT law prohibited them from swapping them. I can find no proof of that online, only 'suggestions'. The high quality Goodyears (bought at Hogan) have maybe 8K on them and are in excellent condition, with no detectable deterioration and min 3/4 tread depth left. I am a car guy and keep my vehicles in top shape. I stopped using Direct Tire in the '80s when I witnessed multiple 'up-selling' scenarios while waiting for tire service - 'did you know your brakes are dangerous?' 'Let me show you why you need new shocks', etc. I suspect that Hogan staff is now incentivized to do the same - there's a new crew there. I'm never going back. Good luck trading on ignorance and fear, guys.

GBService seems slow Service seems slow. It always seems to take a long time. Suggest maybe setting expectations of how long the service is expected to take when booking the appointment so customer can plan accordingly. Particularly for routine maintenance. Staff are always very pleasant!
