It’s a good place for repair It’s a good place for repair. They do go over the procedures for checking your transmission, but geez $500 to check it might as well be a mortgage payment! For me I had a warranty but both (mileage and time) expired, so right back to paying, in my estimation, another $2000. My vehicle is not even valued for that much. It is important to note that after checking it, the serviceman did put in transmission fluid for me...that I had to pay for! Guess since not being able to pay for the $500 to see what was wrong, I️ just had to be milked for something. Definetly felt great! 🙄

Went in for six month checkup for… Went in for six month checkup for recent clutch replacement. During evaluation, it was determined that the wrong clutch cable was used in original replacement which was performed in December of 2017. Appropriate clutch cable was obtained and installed for my vehicle-at no charge to me. The shop manager, Minor, was very keen in making this observation and very courteous. Guys in shop were also great and I appreciated the service I received from this Cottman location.

Great CVT transmission replacement. I live in Virginia. Everyone in my area seemed afraid to tackle a transmission swap for my 2014 Mitsubishi outlander sport CVT transmission. Sue found a replacement for me and sounded confident in the work she and her staff can provide. I traveled to WINSTON SALEM from WYTHEVILLE Va. Everything was great from start to finish. Now after 1000 miles, the transmission works like a charm still. Thanks Sue and Cottman Transmission.

GOODBYE! if this is for the tobacco, all is good! Quit cigarettes as they now are taxed to death. I had sent an email last week asking for a recommendation on their Imperial Tobacco. It never came. I guess 41 years ain’t enough!

Great Honest Company!!! My experience with Cottman is my best EVER with a repair shop. Susan was great about letting me know what was happening and despite some changes to the work that needed to be done, they still had it completed exactly when she said it would be. The honesty, and not doing work that was quoted but eventually not needed will make me return here whenever I need work done on my car! Thanks Cottman for making my rough week better!!
