Dropped off on a Saturday Dropped off on a Saturday, didn’t schedule with them just dropped it off. Monday they called me with an estimate, Friday the entire transmission was rebuilt, new torque converter, everything re-installed and ready to go. Great experience. Runs great.

Great CVT transmission replacement. I live in Virginia. Everyone in my area seemed afraid to tackle a transmission swap for my 2014 Mitsubishi outlander sport CVT transmission. Sue found a replacement for me and sounded confident in the work she and her staff can provide. I traveled to WINSTON SALEM from WYTHEVILLE Va. Everything was great from start to finish. Now after 1000 miles, the transmission works like a charm still. Thanks Sue and Cottman Transmission.

Paid them $ 2500 witch is the same… Paid them $ 2500 witch is the same price of an overhaul that they didnt do and the transmission lasted only a yr. Told me there warenty is only 30 days what kind of crap is that. Shows me they just pieced and patched my transmission to last long enough for the warrenty to expire. Never again will i use them. They told me my fluid was an half a quart low,and I had metal shavings and my fluid was brunt. I informed him they they had worked on it how is that so. In just over a year the same problem I have before is back. But now u want me to pay you $700 just to talk it back out and see what's wrong with it. I must look like a real stupid if he thought I was gona pay him all over again for what they didnt fix in the first place. This company is horrible and I would not suggest anyone to use them wouldn't even attempt to say they would open the transmission up and try to find why it's doing the same thing that it was doing when I brought it to them the first time all they want is money and to patch your transmission up just to get you out the door

It’s a good place for repair It’s a good place for repair. They do go over the procedures for checking your transmission, but geez $500 to check it might as well be a mortgage payment! For me I had a warranty but both (mileage and time) expired, so right back to paying, in my estimation, another $2000. My vehicle is not even valued for that much. It is important to note that after checking it, the serviceman did put in transmission fluid for me...that I had to pay for! Guess since not being able to pay for the $500 to see what was wrong, I️ just had to be milked for something. Definetly felt great! 🙄

My trusted mechanic sent me to Cottman for simple servicing of my transmission. Turns out it was the best advice I ever got for several reasons beyond competitive cost. Consumer service was totally beyond all expectations. I am Handicapped and the manager actually got into my car and with his diagnostic computer and showed me the actual function parameters of my transmission while I was driving. Amazing what all I learned and provided me pick with return of my car after my car was completed service at no cost to me. Amazing,,,, They also had a Dodge Cert, Tech do it so my extended drive train warranty service schedule was documented... what more could I ask for,,,I am totally satisfied and suggest you follow my experience to.
