Subpar Experience, But Effort to Rectify After We did not have a good experience with Coach America. Our bus was entirely too hot. We needed to ask the bus driver multiple times to please turn the air down, and eventually to just turn the AC on. The televisions didn’t work, so our bus full of children couldn’t watch the movies we planned to watch. The toilet in the bathroom was super shallow, which really freaked out our toddler. The bus was late to pick us up at the end of the day, so we got home later than we had planned for. Dylan from Coach America did reach out to me about this review almost immediately. He shared that this was likely a subcontracted bus and driver and not one from their actual fleet. He seems extremely passionate about this company and the quality they are known to provide, which is not indicative of this review. He also offered to make a donation to our organization, which certainly goes above and beyond thoughtful and was certainly not my intention with my review. If we were to need their services in the future, I would feel comfortable giving them another try provided they can ensure that we will be provided with their bus and staff.

Exceeded Expectations I had no prior experience with Coach America. I called them for several quotes from various cities and their prices were very competitive. That was the start. Every call I made was answered quickly, every question was answered promptly and the bus schedule was adhered to and executed flawlessly. I would highly recommend Coach America!

Everything went smoothly Everything went smoothly. Anthony was very responsive from the very first email. For a minute, I worried when the driver hadn't contact me before the trip, but Anthony took care of it right away. I talked with our driver Fred before we arrived at the airport, and he was right on time. We had a school group of 27 traveling from Hartford Airport to Yale, and we will definitely use them again.

Coach America is a great charter bus company! Coach America is great!! I used their company to charter a bus for a student choir tour and had such a positive experience. Chris, Senior Sales Representative, was so great to work with to book, plan and confirm the details of our tour ahead of the charter. On-site, the bus driver, Mr. Terry, was also so great to work with and our group had wonderful things to say. If you are looking to charter a bus for a school group visiting another city, definitely book with Coach America! We are looking forward to working with them a couple more times this year too!
