A great experience I found everyone at PITS from their customer reps to the engineers to be very professional, resourceful and responsible. I had two video c-fast cards from a corporate production shoot that were corrupted and I wasn't sure if they would be able to recover the video files with their metadata intact. They figured it out and spent quite a while reformatting the files for me until they were perfect. They were also always easy to reach on the phone and very responsive. Nothing but good things to say.

The folks at PITS did a fabulous job… The folks at PITS did a fabulous job and retrieved a decade’s worth of priceless family photos I had stored on an external hard drive that failed. I was unable to fix this myself and the local computer repair shop was uninterested. PITS to the rescue. Excellent work and a fine system for dealing with the customer. PITS is not cheap, but if you have data you must have back, who’s to say what you should pay? I was ecstatic to get my photos back. I wholeheartedly recommend PITS.

Great experience! Great experience! Had two hard drives one was a computer tower. Too damaged to get anything off! Second was my western digital hard drive that just stoped working. They were able to get everything recovered very happy as many items were not replaceable as they are my kids baby pictures!! A little expensive but gave me a discount and understood was on a budget. Very helpful! Great customer service!

Worse than I thought four months ago After being VERY clear about how much I could afford, I was charged 3 times the amount I had saved up. I am not claiming I didn't know what I would be chargef, but after losing my husband and all of our photos of our life together I foolishly agreed to an amount much higher than I could afford. I will never use them again and their response to my review cements that FIRMLY in my mind. And now, I learn that a)less than half of my terrabyte drive was actually recovered and b)the drive they sent with my "recovered files" has a virus or something and no longer works and crashes Windows every time I try to get my files.

Highly recommended It was a decent experience, the communication was great, the speed of the fix was extraordinary (failed hard drive), and the negotiation of prices was even more so. The only reason why I’m giving this 4 stars is because of the file type that was downloaded. It says zip but it’s in a strange file that I had to use a raropener to get open, but I’m just gonna chalk that up as something that happens when you pull stuff out of a hard drive that failed or got corrupted.
