You get what you pay for You definitely get what you pay for with WP Buffs. That being said, it's not enough. I would prefer to pay more for better service instead of getting the cheapest WP support available. I agree with another reviewer that they don't prioritize the tickets properly. Also, they work sequentially and won't go on to the next ticket until the last ticket is finished, so if you have a tricky one, you have to close it out so they will go on to the next easy or urgent one, then reopen the old one. We had a ticket that was being worked on for a very long time, over a month, partly due to me responding slowly, partly due to them apparently stopping for other tickets that were sent in. The response time is generally much slower than stated, unless you consider the auto-reply within a 24-hr response window. I have had to wait days for proper acknowledgement on some tickets. Also, the tickets get assigned to new engineers as shifts change which is not always optimal. I will be exchanging emails with one engineer over the course of a few hours, and then another engineer on the next shift picks up the ticket and they may not have the full understanding. The email-only communication is antiquated. It can take 2-3 days of back and forth emails to clarify an issue. Once a support engineer starts working on a ticket, I would like real-time communication to expedite the process. Slack would be best, or a Slack-like interface. Chat would be an improvement too.

Website updates accomplished rapidly I requested a series of updates to our website as the organization's leadership changed in June 2022. The response was fast (turn-around-time faster than stated/expected)! When several minor edits were then identified by Board members upon their review and i provided to WP Buffs, Ernesto Montejo WordPress Engineer, addressed the same day! Very pleased.

They are lightning fast, they come up with alternative ideas or do exactly as the client wants and make sure we are taken care of. I definitely would recommend them to anyone who needs support and to be able to rest at night knowing they overlook your website for you. I've been with them for 6 months so far and I can't run my business without them!

Wordpress Disaster To Well Oiled Machine Our wordpress site has been heavily customized with dozens of plugins, including lots of custom content types, a learning management system, user community plugin, and more. It was a mess, extremely slow, and routinely crashing. First we tried working with a freelance Wordpress administrator, that was a disaster too, and very expensive. Then we found WP Buffs. Within a couple of days they had the site stabilized and running well. After a few months, the site runs like clockwork and they are extremely accommodating to our requests. I would recommend WP Buffs to ANYONE who operates a Wordpress site. Focus on your content, and your business, let WP Buffs handle the rest. You'll sleep better, I promise.
