Fragmented Service and Horrible Payroll Zenefits is a collaboration of a multitude of different companies that try to act like one company. Every module is monitored by a different company. I didn't even get set up correctly for the first 6 weeks , with no compensation or apology. They give me less than ONE day (approve the next business day by 2:00 p.m.) to approve timecards and payroll and IF there is a holiday, there is virtually zero way to finish the week and pay my employees on their payday. Yet, they take my money right on time- which leads me to believe they earn a ton off of interest of their clients money. Not even a comparison with ADP and Paychex but I'm stuck in this contract for awhile...don't do it.

Zenefits is a great and simple… Zenefits is a great and simple platform. It's easily allowed me to manage onboarding, payroll, benefits, 401k and more from one place. My one advice for improvement would be to have a dedicated rep that could help when I have questions instead of filling out a form and waiting a few days for a response.

A must have for our company I confess to not having used any other HR/payroll software before. With that said, having a trusted company handle payroll and organize all of my HR information is incredibly helpful. We are a distributed, fully remote company. Zenefits guides us through the registration process for each state, which would be a nightmare to figure out on my own each time we hire someone in a new state. The apps (both phone and for Mac) are intuitive and easy to use.

Awful experience Awful experience. Zenefits got me in trouble with my employer. Customer manager from ClubZen/Trinet Zenefits claimed that I didn’t do the trainings and took away the reward points that I’ve accomplished from the trainings that I’ve done. I’ve tried to explain to her that I’ve accomplished those trainings before I joined the ClubZen. I even did pass the certificate professional exam from Zenefits before I joined the ClubZen. She claimed that all of them were not recorded and therefore she took away the reward points that I’ve received. I try to solve the issue with the customer care from Zenefits but instead of solving the problem they file a complaint against me to my employer and got me in trouble. I have to take a day off in order of my employer to solve this issue. Zenefits is bad!

Even when I forget a step because I wear multiple hats, they never fail to send me reminders to ensure we are successful and compliant with all processes. Always a great experience!
