I happened upon HWE when looking for a… I happened upon HWE when looking for a specific brand of stationery. HWE carried a complete line, and I encountered none of the "out of stock" messages that I experienced elsewhere. My order was expeditiously prepared and arrived wrapped in lovely handmade paper. I bookmarked this site and will return to explore more possibilities--and to replenish the items I just got.

It was so nice to receive my package… It was so nice to receive my package today from HWE. This is the first time I have ordered from them. It was like unwrapping deliveries when we were young... something you don’t often see from US businesses: nicely wrapped products, with handmade paper and string bows. And handwritten notes from the individual who wrapped commenting on their favorite products! Well done!!

Thoughtful packaging, better pricing, and better service than Amazon from a small business I ordered notebooks through HWE rather than Amazon in an effort to support small businesses and I couldn't be happier. Greater selection, same price, shipped just as quickly and came beautifully packaged with a handwritten thank you note. I'll certainly be ordering from HWE again.

Nice Presentation but Not a Great Value Packaging was very nice and items were well presented. This subscription did not wow me, mostly because I do not ever use dot grid or grid notebooks. It would be nice if the subscription could be somewhat customizable, with the opportunity to choose types of notebooks or journals. Because there were many things I didn’t use, the subscription wasn’t a good value for me.

And they sent me CANDY, too! This is my new pencil-and-pen-and-other-suchlike-stuff shop! I wanted a Worther Shorty in Red and couldn't find one until I looked here! It arrived pretty quickly, and it was wrapped up in a Cute Little Parcel tied with String and there were two Starburst Candies and a handwritten thank-you note and I ask you: Does It Get Any Better Than This?
