GBI had a fall wearing my trauma void… I had a fall wearing my trauma void helmet that resulted in 12 broken ribs, 4 cracked vertebrae, a broken c7, a ruptured spleen and a small hemopneumothorax. I had no head injury! The Trauma team at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center said they always expect a head injury when someone is life-flighted in. Thank-you trauma void!

GBLove the fit but fix the storage bag Love the fit, overall shape, harness connection, and the little bit of blinged cord on the model I purchased. Competitivly priced. The only thing I would suggest is enlarging the storage bag that came with it and making it from more sturdy material. After only 2 uses it started coming apart and fraying at the seams while trying to (gently) get the helmet into the bag.

GBComfortable, but bad chin strap design. Edit, they are replacing my helmet! Trauma Void is replacing my helmet because of my chin strap issues. amazing that they are standing behind their product this way! I really like the fit and comfort of the helmet. Unfortunately the chin strap is a problem. It doesn't stay tight, and the daily adjustment means I have to remove the little chin pad, which is losing it's stickiness and not wanting to stay put anymore. The extra length of the strap requires that pas to not be sloppy. This is a shame because otherwise it is a fantastic helmet.

GBThe MIPS intrigued me, the comfort made me buy it. I’ve had my EQ3 now for several months and have been very pleased with it. I wore it comfortably through the hot summer months. It’s comfortable and stylish. But most importantly, I purchased it because of the innovative MIPS layer. As a neuro nurse and long-time helmet advocate, my safety is of utmost importance. The level of safety offered by this helmet, especially at this price point, can’t be beat!
