GBSmells horrible, no lather I was excited to try this product but it quickly faded when I squeezed some product into my hand. The smell was awful. I followed the directions but there was absolutely no lathering. The glide seemed to be good, and I felt like it softened my face, but did nothing to soften my beard. I would tackle the smell first as that was the thing that turned me off the most. It was a bad combo of Noxema and nursing home

GBThis product isn't for me. I recall purchasing a similar product at Wal-Mart about 6 months ago. I discarded it after 3 days for the same reasons enumerated below. 800 razors ultra shave cream My face felt very smooth after shaving. • I would not like to shovel transparent snow off my drive. For the same reason I do not like to shave my face if the cream disappears and I can’t see where I have previously shaved. • There are 5 oz. in the container. You recommend I use ½ oz. when I shave. This means I will get 10 shaves out of each container. This is not very attractive from a cost per shave standpoint. I can buy an Edge, Gillette or Shick can of cream for about $3 and it will last at least a month and I can see where I have shaved. • The lubricant is so effective it made the razor slippery and difficult to hold.

GBMen’s Ultra Smooth Shave Cream - Recommended 800razors is a wonderful company - sharp, durable blades and excellent customer service. They recently introduced Men’s Ultra Smooth Shave Cream. Combined with their blades, it gives you a wonderful shave. Put some shave cream in your palm, lather up, apply and shave. You'll get a great shave in one pass. I have a wiry beard and sensitive skin. After shaving my beard is tamed and my skin feels good. The only drawback is a personal preference. This is a lighter shave cream. I prefer a thicker lather.

GBCheaper but falls short. The concept for one 800 razors is spot on. The Gillette razors I've been using are ridiculously expensive. The ones I purchased from 800 razors shaved almost as closely, and lasted almost as long just not quite as good. The handle is just not engineered well enough, especially when installing new blades. In the end, because I have lots of money, I've decided not to compromise on a great shave. I've gone back to Gilette and their ridiculous prices.

GBWhat was their business plan? I have been using 800razors for a couple of years now. Started because of the cost of blades even at the big box stores. I have been completely satisfied with these blades, especially the added benefit that they never seem to wear out (get dull). I have been using the current blade for over 6 months with no sign of getting dull. Don't know how these guys will make much money once people discover that they seem to last for ever rather than replacing them every few weeks like I used to do.
