There is a huge infestation rat in the… There is a huge infestation rat in the location located in 1900 NW 19th St Fort Lauderdale 33311. Be careful all the people that have their furniture there. I lost everything I had there, The Post Storage didn't respond to me for everything I lost. I paid for two years without any sense because I paid to storage things that the rats bit. The manager of that location is the worst of people to try customers, Customer service never responded to me about the issue I opened with them, I am still waiting for them to respond to me in any way to pay for this damages. If you are looking to store your valuables or furniture look for another company more responsible for the things that happen in their location. For me, this is the worst company to store your things.

Too cold, low lights, only staff 5 hrs I have storage space in Pelham Manor, NY so I can only speak to that location. It is always too cold for my helper & I to bring in things & spend the time we need to organize them. When your nose & fingers turn ice cold, it has to be too cold! Further, when paying for temperature controlled, one expects that their stored items that are sensitive to extreme cold and or heat will be safe. I have written to the company numerous times and have not gotten a reply. Further, they have reduced the staff hours to just 4 hrs per day so there is no one there to monitor for theft. The bathrooms stay locked as well as the door to the "chat now screen". The lighting has been reduced to low lighting obviously to save money so that it is dark and depressing in there. I have two large rooms there but will be leaving as soon as I can arrange for a mover to take my things to another facility. Further, staff is supposed to open the office at 2 pm. I am waiting there, now, and at 2:13, there is no sign of a staff member t9 open the office and make the chat screen and bathroom accessible. Don't rent here!q1

Mold Damage Due to Leaking Sprinkler ( Storage Post Suffern,NY) In December 2018 at the Storage Post in Suffern,NY, we discovered our household items were covered in mold in unit 1190. It was not visible upon entering the storage unit as I visited the storage unit on several occasions to check on the items. Upon further investigation there were residual water marks on the ceiling of the unit. After speaking with a representative at the location, it was brought to my attention that the unit had a sprinkler leak. I filed a claim with their department, and they denied the claim even though their facility had a sprinkler leak and due to the fact, we refused insurance. Even if we took out the insurance, their insurance does not cover mold damage. The mold was not due to a fault of ours. It was a fault of their building. After losing all our items in a fire, we were depending on the items that we had in storage and was not able to use any of the because of the mold. In addition, our daughter was asthmatic and with no other option we had to take the furniture with us to determine what was salvageable. Following that the newly renovated home eventually showed evidence contamination. Better Business Bureau investigated the concerns and were ignored like I did. A police report was filed and no compensation was offered. We lost at least $40,000 of household goods with no proof of value to the house fire. That was my experience with the Storage Post in Suffern,NY

Never rent from “public storage”!!!!!! Never rent from public storage!!!!!! Especially the one at 75 and Arapaho in Richardson. Employees hate their job and it shows Manager refused to fix anything after mutable phone calls I would love to post pictures of mold and maggots in my boxes. No light Roof leak ruined my stuff Pot hole outside unit door the size of a small truck Roll up door broken. Best day... when I moved my stuff to “Extra Storage “ wow. A company that actually wants my business. Clean and professional. What was I thinking.
