About PLT Nutrition

PLT Nutrition provides nutrition coaching for all ages, for all walks of life and all backgrounds. We believe in food freedom and enjoying a balanced approach to nutrition. We don't believe in the excessive tracking approach other companies use but instead a relaxed fluid approach. We don't ask our clients to track everything or to track to a single number, we use calorie ranges to allow our clients to find their daily hunger balance. Our community is like no other, its free from shame, free from restrictive or excessive beliefs, its supportive and diverse. The best plan out there! It was easy! People don’t believe me. My coach, Allie, gave me the tools and support I needed. Having daily, weekly and monthly check-ins provides the accountability I needed. I feel like I eat more now than I ever have because I’m eating nutrient dense food. I no longer have a “sweet tooth” and crave sugar 24/7 but I still get to indulge due to the flexibility with PLT. The best part is it has been sustainable and fit into my busy life as a new mom and full time nurse. I haven’t change my fitness schedule but by improving my nutrition and achieving a leaner body mass my performance at the gym has greatly improved. I recommend PLT to everyone!

A balanced plan based on your life, not just numbers. PLT Nutrition has helped me focus on my journey to better health in so many ways. They provide free information on their website, offer great advice for free in their FB group, and if you decide to become a client, your coach is so supportive and informative and provides a plan based on your goals. They want you to succeed but be able to enjoy all life has to offer. And that balance is what makes them different from all the other health companies.

A Personalized Approach I think what I love best about PLT and their coaching is the approach. It’s planning for YOUR life not some one-size fits all situation. The foundations are legit and you can talk through so many different scenarios and your coach HAS YOUR BACK to get you to where you want to be. No shame, just constant communication to get the course correction you need and the information you want. While I don’t always take advantage of it, being able to reach out to your coach anytime for help(response within reason) has helped establish healthy habits and has addressed those moments when cravings get the better of me.

Thrilled at my results! I initially signed up for a 12-week plan in hopes of losing 10-15 pounds I'd gained in the past decade. While that might not seem like much compared to other people's experiences, I recognized that my body was changing as I entered my 40s (and my blood pressure, A1C and cholesterol were rising) and that I needed to do something differently if I wanted to maintain good health into my 50s, 60s and beyond. Coach Katie was very helpful, patient and reassuring as I initially wasn't seeing as much change as I hoped, and worked with me to tweak our program based on my lifestyle habits and eating patterns. I decided to extend my membership, and as I got into the fourth month of the program, I started to see the results I was looking for. Now, 9-10 months in, I'm almost at my weight loss goal, I've learned so much more about macros and finding the best ways to get the protein I need and I'm feeling good too. I'll know how to maintain this as well once I enter the maintenance phase, which is something I struggled with in past programs (thus gaining all my weight back). I highly recommend PLT Nutrition and I'd encourage anyone who's feeling frustrated or not seeing results immediately to stick with it! It's been a great investment

Focus on macros has been a revelation… Focus on macros has been a revelation for me. I consider myself a healthy eater, with a good understanding of calories, nutrients, etc. That being said, I've never been sure of the right mix of protein/fat/carbs, and the ranges provided by my coach have been very helpful. The weekly coaching has been just the right level for me (daily tracking with weekly video message), and now that I feel that I have my eating dialed in (took a good 2months+), I'm looking forward to more focus on my strength training routine.
