Extremely happy My resume needed to be built out and polished and I'm so glad I went with ZipJob to do it. The process was easy and the results (resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile) were great- it was just what I was looking for. The collaboration was easy and the process took less than a week! Knowing that there are a lot of these services out there, reviews are super important and helpful when trying to make a decision. I read a million and am happy I went with this one.

Serious Complaint About Poor Service and Unresponsive Customer Support at ZipJob I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the resume writing service provided by ZipJob, which I began using on April 3, 2024. I was assigned a writer named Robert who, disappointingly, only copy-pasted the content of my existing resume without making any meaningful changes or improvements. Upon noticing this, I immediately raised my concerns with their customer support, expecting a swift resolution such as a full refund or reassignment to a more competent writer. However, my complaints have been met with nothing but inefficiency and a lack of accountability. Despite multiple communications, ZipJob has neither refunded me nor provided a suitable alternative to rectify their substandard service. This experience has not only wasted my time and money but has also caused significant frustration due to their non-responsive demeanor and the critical nature of the service they failed to properly deliver. I trusted ZipJob with something as important as my professional representation, and they have utterly failed to meet the basic standards expected of a professional resume writing service. I urge potential customers to consider this experience as a testament to the lack of professionalism and customer care exhibited by ZipJob. I am now forced to escalate this issue publicly to seek resolution and to advise others to steer clear of their services to avoid similar disappointment.

Scam. Don’t waste your money. I wish I could give 0 stars. I chose this company because it had relatively good reviews. First, I took a good deal of time and effort to provide all the information on the questionnaire. Then I received my first draft which was filled with errors and questions. That is expected in a first draft. I answered all of the questions. Again, I took time to provide all of the information I could to make my qualifications clear. What I received back was a resume that was drafted through ChatGPT and sent to me. There were inconsistencies, spelling and grammatical errors, and “achievements” listed that I didn’t do nor did I ever say I did. I expressed my unhappiness with the services to both the writer and customer service, but I was assured he would fix it. So again I made detail markups of the resume and sent it back. The resume I received was a bit better and I put my trust in the company when I was assured it would sail past ATS software. After 2 months with no interviews, I reached out to ZipJob as I had the 60-day guarantee. All I got was the offer to have it redone. After another month, I ended up meeting with a professional career coach who reviewed my resume and pointed out all of the aspects that would get it tossed by ATS immediately. I have reached out to the company and asked for my money back because they failed to render the services I paid for - an ATS friendly resume. They will not offer me a refund. They offered to rewrite it, but honestly with what I got after all of the time I put into providing information, I don’t think it’s worth it. I don’t trust wasting more time in this process. This company does not care about customers. They just use AI and take your money.

TERRIBLE QUALITY RESUME - WASTE OF $ Save your money and google a few examples of resumes in your field and experience level, then go to any number of AI-augmented sites like Career.io or ResumeGenius, or just keep it simple on a word doc following standard business convention (no pic, grapics, colors, tables, etc.) ZipJob's is 100% off-shore (India most likely) staffed by non-native English speakers that take your existing copy and cram it full of obvious keywords to the point where your resume would make any recruiter's head explode. Then they want to charge you for a phone call to explain to them how they got it all wrong. In the end, you will have created more work for yourself by having to edit down their poor grasp of American english and modern business convention. AND THEY WONT ISSUE A REFUND. BUYER BEWARE. The Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches that have allowed ZipJob to post their logo on their site must allow anyone to use their logo for $.

Scam Service Unfortunately, I have to give them a 1 star. The first resume I felt was a little wordy but I was assured this was the proper format and honestly the first one was at least getting picked up via autofill but was still not getting any hits. After my 60 days I was able to get it re-written and this time it was a lot shorter and this time I was told that each person has a different writing style, which is true, but they should all have at least some format to follow and ensure it gets picked up through autofill systems; the new format only gets read with a couple of my positions and I have to manually fill every thing else out. I would not recommend this service to anyone.
