About Project Destined

Project Destined, founded by a former Carlyle Group executive, has partnered with 250+ leading real estate firms and 300+ universities around the country to provide diverse students with internship opportunities to explore ownership through live real estate deals. Project Destined is a unique real estate program that provides young adults from underrepresented communities with the opportunity to learn about commercial real estate through a hands-on, immersive experience. The program is designed to inspire and educate the next generation of real estate professionals by exposing them to all aspects of the industry, from property management to deal-making. At Project Destined, participants work alongside experienced real estate professionals to analyze properties, develop business plans, and pitch their ideas to real estate investors. This approach allows participants to gain a deep understanding of the real estate industry while also building valuable skills in financial analysis, critical thinking, and communication. GREAT PROGRAM Both classes have been comprehensible and well-put-together. Cedric makes time for questions and goes over the material in a timely fashion, as well. He is a great teacher, I do not have any suggestions.

Valuation | Property Cedric's explanation and process of valuation property is so well-put that anyone without a real estate background or experience, including me, can understand. Nice touch of breakout rooms for participants to connect and engage with the work and each other. Thank you!

Great! I was able to connect with the other participants, and the only downside was that on my end, I had a lot of connectivity issues, which made the experience a bit hard. It was fast paced, and to the point. The host also made sure we understood what was going on by taking the time to explain the concepts thoroughly.
