I was amazed to listen to my performance via the DA 87i! I was amazed to listen to the first recording of my male voice and acoustic guitar with minimal exra EQ input. The DA 87i is indeed the finest microphone I have used, with incredible tone via its sensitivity and quality design. Also, dealing with DA has been such a pleasure...I now would heartily recommend the company and its products, especially the 87i!

Microphone for lots of sources Microphone has very aligned sound.Perfect highs gives you possibility to shape it by eq.Sound is not "boomy" and with Manley Voxbox sounds fat and warm.With Arturia studio preamps it sounds with presence....Very good for lots of sources becouse is not exposing unnecessary frequences.I have Brauner VM1 ,Rhode NTK ...that microphone is proud in competition .

Customer service was excellent Customer service was excellent. They were so helpful with some questions that I had. And the mic arrived in great condition. The solders look amazing, the mic itself looks amazing and boy does it sound good. It's open and modern sounding but has that flavor we all so desperately love.
