Long time user of VENTA Humidifiers! I have purchased eight VENTA humidifiers over many decades. They are quiet, effective, and provide the correct level of humidity for our home. LW 25 has improved over the years with a simpler mode selection. I have just bought a LW15 for a smaller room.

Good experience for the most part Venta used to offer a 10 year warranty for their humidifiers, but now only offers a 2 year warranty. This drastic decrease in warranty support may have implications about their product or business practices. Received my LW45, filled it up (note that the water line can be considered vague unless someone has looked through the manual) but it didn’t start initially after pressing the power button, and I had to open it up and plug in a loose cord. Fortunately, working on Venta humidifiers is an intuitive & easy task. Seems to work fine and does what it’s supposed to do. The sound it makes is strangely calming.

a happy customer for 25 plus years Just purchased a VentaWasher as a housewarming gift for friends. Why? Because I have used one (or more) for over 25 years and can't imagine a winter without this appliance! Excellent engineering means they will last a LONG time and when something does wear out, replacement parts are available, so you aren't throwing the whole unit out and starting over.

Venta is the only choice Venta is the only product I have found to humidify my music studio. Instruments are very sensitive to humidity. My Venta LW45 is able to keep it at a constant 50% plus it cleans the air.

Easiest humidifier to use, works well, low maintenance costs, paper quick start guide needs more clarity, prompt customer service replies The humidifier we purchased is the easiest to use, has the lowest effort to maintain, and has low maintenance costs. High quality and very happy that it is made in Germany. Compared to other humidifiers out there that require a tank to be filled upside down which then eventually leaks or spillage occurs or just plain awkward to put the tank back on, or the tanks are too small and must constantly refill, and also have to take apart many small parts to clean, this model and the smaller version have all of them beat by a mile. We do wish that the paper manual that comes with the unit was much clearer for set-up and maintenance, but there is a comprehensive online PDF manual that is much easier to understand, so we print out the pages as we need to make it easier for ourselves. We love this model so much that we just purchased the smaller model for our bedroom. Shipping was quick and when we had questions prior to purchase via email, customer service was prompt.
