CAFONUS is for real FONUS is for real! Imagine having access to call Canada, USA, and Mexico phone numbers WITHOUT roaming charges?! My husband, with his "computer-guy" searching skill, stumbled upon Fonus which we now use, for $30 each per month. Who would complain about unlimited data and text, NO ONE, duh!!! :) The only problem, which I think the company will be able to resolve soon, is that there are times when it's hard to get a signal, especially when you're on the go.

CAGlad to see an MVNO operating in Canada… Glad to see an MVNO operating in Canada (even if not Canada based?). Lower cost rates for no contract data access than the incumbent Telcos after taxes. Subscription plan: World Unlimited Starter (with eSIM) Good chat based customer service (thanks Sophie) helped out on sign up mix up (esim vs. sim). e-sim works as expected with Pixel 6a. No complaints to date.

CAThis company has false advertising This company has false advertising, it is not unlimited internet and when you go over their amount they cut everything off, internet, calling and texting. Customer service is ignorant too! I don’t know what unlimited means to them but to me it means NO LIMITS! Wonder what they would do if a bunch of people got together and took them to court!

CAGenerally I am satisfied with the… Generally I am satisfied with the service, and certainly the price. A few downsides: - many institutions (eg. Banks) refuse to text authorization codes to VOIP numbers. This is the biggest downside for me. - The 'new' App lacks support for multi-party chats. You can send to multiple people, but then each reply and conversation is point to point - the 'automatic' switching of carriers is hit and miss when traveling between Canada and the U.S.

CAUnable to port Canadian numbers to Fonus We purchased two sim cards and when we tried to port our Canadian cell phone numbers were told that Fonus does not support either number. My partner was offered two other BC numbers, he picked one and then the other, neither of them were available. Eventually he was offered an Alberta number. We bought the sim cards precisely because the advertising said we could port our Canadian numbers. Not true apparently and the chat support was close to useless.
