GBThe transition to Dish sucks/ … The transition to Dish sucks/ trying to reach customer service sucks. trying tio get my account # and port # so I can keep my number and move to another carrier is next to impossible, I guess this is there new business model. ENTRAPMENT!!!! never had an issue while Republic Wireless was setting the tone. Would I recommend Dish ? NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!!!

GBNice while it lasted, but Dish broke it. Since Dish bought the service, it no longer does any of the things I valued. No more WiFi first, which was so important to me because I travel a lot. No more voicemail on the phone. I have to call a number like it's 1999. No more messaging through WiFi. A giant step backwards. Republic did wonderful, useful things when it started, but now it is just another fair-to-middling cell plan. I will shop around.

GBMint is better Was better service & pricing before dirty dish bought them out. Switched to Mint far better service and saving half my prior cost still with no contract!

GBThey Made a Nightmare Out of a Great Company. It was a great company, especially in the beginning. It was high concept back then. Wi fi phones, cell data as needed. Groovy. But over the years you could see upper management losing interest as things began to slip a bit. Since they sold to Dish, it's been a nightmare. Constantly having to call customer service just so I can even make a call. Voice mail hasn't worked for months. Au revoir, serene Republic. I think I will probably never do business with Dish either, now that I have seen what kind of company they are. They're reaching out to me here on Trust Pilot to look like they care. Another call to customer service is what they offer. So that would be like call #6 to customer service? Just so they can perform brand management in front of you, dear reader.

GBGreat coverage and great price! I had Verizon and wanted to switch because of the price I was paying. I live in a rural area and was very concerned about how my coverage would be because it’s not that great where I live. I took the chance and switched and figured I’d switch right back if it wasn’t a do-able signal. It turns out I get more bars and better data coverage than I did with Verizon. My bill is less than half what it was. I’m very happy. I’ve had them for about 3 months now.
