Foxit support is effective via phone If online support fails, call their customer service number. It really is 24/7 and they really do call back. I was unable to update my Foxit subscription over a month - updating from the application did not work, and from the online auto-chat, it referred me to a download page that only listed trial versions. 1) It turns out "Trial" is also for software updates - their web management is SLOW on clarifying what that link provides. 2) The phone support sent me a direct link to update the software, which works. It may go up to 5 stars, when their web manager addresses the known issue.

Be Careful!! I downloaded Foxit pdf editor on 14 day free trial basis to see if I could use it for a specific document I was trying edit but was unable to - no doubt due to my own ineptness and no reflection on the software. However, once downloaded it insinuated itself as the default pdf editor and changed all the pdfs on my computer retrospectively to Foxit. So when the free trial ended and I didn't pursue the purchase I could no longer access any of my pdfs even though they were not created using Foxit. The uninstall component that came with Foxit didn't work. I had a horrible moment of feeling that I was being held to ransom to pay for software I didn't need or want but I found a way to uninstall it in the end and the pdfs (prior to the installation date) reverted to Adobe. It was scary though and I feel its deliberately built to do this.

I just deactivated foxit pdf from one… I just deactivated foxit pdf from one machine to transfer it to another. Deactivation was simple. Now I can't transfer it. Any online solutions I have found do not work or are so convoluted that they can't be followed. Customer service sucks. I've waited on the phone, but the call cuts off after 2 minutes. They said they do not do human contact. If I did not have a less than 5 months old subscription I would just say forget it, but I have already paid so I want what is owed.

'Free Trial' was a scam 'Free Trial' was a scam! entered my payment details to try the product for 7 days - it wasnt for me so I cancelled within a couple of hours of downloading it. They took my money anyway. I contacted them numerous times to politely request my money back with proof of my cancellation and got nowhere. eventually had to go through paypal to get them to get my refund which they duly did for me. Thank goodness I used Paypal to pay! Terrible treatment by a company that couldnt care less.

Foxit customer is garbage-and I even bought a service upgrade I bought Foxit pdf editor and paid an extra $30 for 24/7 human support. Total crap, they never answer their phone and don't call you back. The program itself is very buggy (pdf editor v 13), and is neck in neck with Adobe for the crappiest product ever. I would avoid Foxit at all costs.
