GBI Chose Stability over Better Programming I chose Quicken over Microsoft Money more than twenty years ago. I used it with windows programming up until the middle of 2020 when I switched to iOS. The windows programming was easier and more user friendly. I wish the iOS programming was better especially with dates in reports. Although iOS is more stable than windows.

GBTax Categories I don't have a business so I use Quicken more simply than others might. I like to keep track of the checking account for tax purposes primarily but also I am elderly and need the visual of the figures in one place. I also use Quicken to keep track of my charge cards and the way I can categorize all of that too for Taxes. Anyway, I like using Quicken for keeping track of my spending.

GBVery Good, but Could be Better I like your system, and I've been using it for over 12 years. However, more recently, or within the past few years, I've noticed more problems with data downloads at Fidelity, Citicards, Amex, and banks like Flagstar.

GBOne Step Update issues Too many continuing and chronic issues with One Step Update. It usually works OK, but not always. Too many updates to the One Step Update feature - updates don't always work and it is time consuming to get problems corrected. A continuing bug in the feature that I have reported several times (with no results) - if the One Step Update fails to connect to my bank, the only way out is to pull up Task Manager and close Quicken from there. Sometimes it is simply faster to connect to the Bank web site through my web browser and download transactions from there.

GBInflation alive and well at Quicken. First of all, I was shocked to see how much the price had increased over the past three years. I've been a Quicken user for dozens of years, and now I'm going to have to find an alternative product that I can afford. Secondly, the software has become less useful. I can only make automatic daily downloads from about half of my accounts at my financial institutions, which forces me to make numerous daily manual downloads of data to keep my account status current. The reason I subscribe now is the convenience of daily downloads of my financial transactions, and your company has forced me to RENT the software at an exorbitant rate. I won't be a Quicken customer much longer. Much of the functionality of the product no longer exists.
