Got the job done at reasonable price When I recently switched from Android to iPhone I realized that WhatsApp chat history will be lost. A quick web search presented limited options of which only Backuptrans seemed reasonably priced as others required costly monthly/yearly subscription. When the first attempt failed for some reason, the support staff was responsive and guided me to resolve the issue. All communication was by e-mail but timely. Please note that the multi-step process is simple but isn't a single click or automated. And, user interface and functionality is just ok to get the job done!

Backuptrans delivers the impossible! I have recently moved from Android to iOS only to realize the huge obstacles of moving my years of chat history to the new platform. Officially the answer is that you need to forget your old messages/ WhatsApp history/ Viber history. Looking around for a solid solution Backuptrans has been my dream come true software. I moved EVERYTHING to iOS! Yes! And I am happy It is a bit techie software environment but take a breath, follow the instructions and you will manage it!!!

5 stars for functionality Would give 5 stars for functionality, but the instructions on the website aren't great, which led to a lot of confusion till I reached out to them via Facebook. Once you get in touch with customer service, everything clicks into place. Transferred WhatsApp chats from Google Pixel 2 to iPhone 12 Pro.

DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE!! DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE!!! This is such a scam of a software...you'll pay almost 30 usd upfront and won't have any guarantee that the service will work and from what you can read in many reviews it doesn't work for many people. It's overly complicated and I've tried following the instructions a hundred times but then just gave up because it would just back up some bits of historic data but far from everything so literally almost all my Viber data eventually got lost. The company selling this crappy licence is also not responsive so don't expect to get your money back when your transfer doesn't work. Such a scam. True that Viber itself is a useless app with this shady policy of not allowing for a normal data transfer when switching phones and platforms (unlike Whatsapp for example which makes it easy peasy via Smart Switch), but it's really unfair for someone to charge so much for a licence that doesn't do anything and then isn't even willing to offer a refund for it. I call this s scam and if I lost my money I hope I can at least save someone else from making the same mistake.
