Complete scam Complete scam. Be aware and don't fall into the trial trap. I initially payed £1.99 for one week and thought that was it, then they automatically renewed for £29.99 a month. I understood too late and they billed me for 3 months, without ever sending any email at all (not for the sign up, not for the renewal, nothing, so you have no record). Completely overpriced rip off company that lure you into a subscription. The trustpilot sign on their website is also fake, as they claim to have 5 stars when they only have 1.

Why a 1 star Why a 1 star? - You need to convert a Word doc to pdf, and discover PDFsmart online - It says they will only charge a one-off $1.99 for seven days of use of their service, which seems reasonable - Two weeks later you discover they've taken 29.99 from your bank account - The charge comes up as fraudulent by your bank because so many other people have complained about this company and its practices - But the bank can't stop it because buried in Pdfsmart's terms is that they will charge 29.99 after 7 days, even though it's advertised as a one-off fee. - So Pdfsmart may or may not be technically fraudulent, but are engaging in what seems to be highly deceptive practices - So steer well clear, and ignore whatever 'reply' they may post below

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, and thank god I realised it before they scam me, I have payed £1.00 to transform a ppt to a pdf and it says 7 days trial and then u will be charged more (monthly) so I was like okay calm I will end my subscription before the 7 days because I only need to do like 2 documents. and then I waited for so long, they never did my document so here where I realised something is wrong and I wanted to end my subscription and they didn't let me to end it. after I pressed the unsubscribe button they said they will get back to me in order to help me end it, like?? and they never got back to me so that they can steal my money and make it like I am still subscribed. like bro normally when u cancel a subscription it ends and that's it but here they want to steal you. I have seen pdfsmart service replying to people that complained saying you could of ended your subscription whenever you want but its a lie, YOU CANT THEY DONT LET YOU END IT. I am reporting this fraud and I have also took action so that they don't take money from me.

VERY sketchy service VERY sketchy service. Throughout the checkout, they're hiding the subscription of €29.90 as much as possible. With all the disputes that this company must receive, I'm surprised that they still exist. Obviously, it appears somewhere in their T&C, or super small at the bottom of the checkout page, but it shouldn't be possible for someone to operate such a sketchy service charge.

I wish i did my research regarding this… I wish i did my research regarding this company before I ever engaged in their service. I paid 1.20 for a ONE TIME usage of their PDF amendment service. NO WHERE was it mentioned that there would be an automatic monthly subscription upon the one time charge. When i noticed the first monthly deduction, I emailed in immediately to request for a refund, indicating there has been a misunderstanding. To my horror, I received a template message from the company implying that the automatic subcription was indicated clearly and it was basically my fault that I did not read it properly. Exact same experience as hundreds of users who have complained about this site. Do not be mistake, THIS IS their business model. They are in the business of scamming you and charging hefty monthly bills without your knowledge... I simply cannot believe such a company is still allowed to operate! They clearly do not care about receiving a negative review as they only care about ripping people off each time they 'try' the service
