GBGoodbye and good riddance So after I had a response here on trustpilot from Everand, I used the link to look at other available audio books published by Scribd, 3 came up on the search option, yes 3. I then waited until the monthly payment was taken and all the books I could wish for appeared as available, over the next week or so the choice was reduced again, I had listened to two books 11 pages of one and 16 of another, had a break of a few days and when I went back to continue listening both were unavailable saying available soon, so not only does Everand limit after a week or so, they also block the customer from continuing to listen to the books already started, (Not previewed) so I cancelled, thankfully I did not sign up for a years subscription because I would have been well and truly had. Thankfully I have found my favourite authors on line on their own websites and quite reasonable prices too. Also many audio books are available for free on Youtube. Goodbye and good riddance, and no I do not want any reply from you, your actions speak loud enough.

GBUsed to be decent, now I wouldn't recommend Everand has always been a somewhat decent place to listen to audiobooks - especially the longer book series as usually I can get through 4/5 books before the series becomes unavailable. I was happy with this. This time, however, I read 1 book in my series and then it became unavailable again and I've got to wait almost 3 weeks for it to become available again. Very frustrated with this. I understood the Everand algorithm before getting my subscription, but I expect to be able to read more than 1 book in a series per month. EDIT: This month I managed to listen to 2.5 books before my entire saved list became unavailable. What a joke. The only titles left available for me are the poorly written, bottom of the barrel drivel that is rubbish. I've just cancelled my subscription because this is horrendous.

PHOn the lookout for a better app Everand is the worst step down from it's amazing predecessor, Scribd. It's policies on limits are vague and arbitrary. What's the point of this app if you can't access books on demand? It's frustrating when you suddenly get locked out of your chosen books because you've reached their vaguely-prescribed limits. You'd need to wait until your next payment to access other books. Don't make the mistake of saving books you're not deadset on reading, otherwise your limits will be reached. I waited a month to access a particular book then got restricted immediately after scrolling through some other books I was considering! I'm thinking of canceling my subscription if this doesn't get resolved any time soon. Otherwise, it's a waste of money.

GBI thought that I was going to love this… I thought that I was going to love this app! It seemed even better than Kindle. That is until I opened the app today to find that several of the books I'm currently reading won't be available for 2 weeks, when my membership renews. Apparently I reached my limit. Problem being that I was given NO INFORMATION on what that limit is, or even that there is a limit! If this isn't corrected, I will definitely go back to Kindle!
