On 11/26/22 I went to the Turner store… On 11/26/22 I went to the Turner store on Mohawk Drive in Bakersfield, and paid in full for a Kimber pistol that was on sale. A couple of days into the ten day waiting period, I received an unsigned form letter dated 12/1/22 from the DOJ stating that they were delaying the sale for thirty days while they investigate my identity and the possibility that the gun was stolen. The DOJ has done this on every gun I have purchased in the last two years and this makes three times, and my fingerprints were livescanned over a decade ago. The FFL I used on the previous two DOJ delays simply handed me my gun at expiration of the delay, since nothing was found as usual. Anyway, I received a phone call from Turner's on 12/26/22 wherein they stated the DOJ hold had expired without incident, but Turner's was choosing to cancel the sale anyway. They said they would be refunding my money LESS the $44.70 DROS fee ( $7.00 of which is Turner's own "service charge"). I protested that since it was Turner who was cancelling the sale, they should be the one who eats the DROS fee, but they stood firm. All they had left to do was hand me the gun that I arguably owned at that point, but they opted to cancel. So, I went to their store on 12/26/22 and returned two mags that I had previously bought for the gun I was now not getting. While I was there, I asked for the refund on the gun. They refused, stating that refund amounts over $500. had to be mailed to my address by corporate. They didn't say when that refund would come. So, now Turner has had the use of over $1,300. of my money for more than a month, and counting, and still intends to rip me off for the DROS fee they rendered useless. When I buy a gun from a customer friendly FFL, I will have to pay the DROS fees again. The DOJ is violating people's rights and Turner is helping them do it.

Good customer service I have gone to the Stockton Ca, Tulare Ca and Fresno Ca locations and Ive always been treated nicely and in a helpful manner. I went in to look at a firearm. they were not busy so two ees gave me their opinions on the products. I ended up buying some ammo (no fingerprinting needed at that time). everything went perfectly. I even told any employee who'd listen that they were great compared to their competition, the big GREEN box store. I have nothing but good things to say about their customer service.

I needed to buy some nightcrawlers to… I needed to buy some nightcrawlers to go fishing for local trout and also was looking forward to treat myself to some new equipment. I went to the Turner's in Signal Hill and very disappointed when every container of live nightcrawlers were moldy and melted looking. The fishing clerk was talking with Another worker...might have been the manager. He saw that I was looking at each carton of rotten worms and then told me that they were all like that. The manager guy said...I thought they just delivered some....and the other clerk said...no, they just serviced the frozen bait. So it seems that the fishing clerk knew about the rotten bait....but didnt bother to remove it and let the boss know to order more. What a joke! If I didnt check the bait first and just buy it...I would have gotten burned and screwed at the lake. Poor service and incompetent employees = no business. Oh....they advertise and want people to become a preferred Customer to get the better price on items...but cant manage to do simple tasks to run a business.
