No problems on download and activation I have only used direct2drive once, but have had no problems. Downloaded the game just fine and both the preordercode and the actualy gamecode worked fine. I have not needed any contact with customersupport so cannot comment on that.

They're selling fake keys - SCAM! Purchased a key at what seemed like a good price. The Steam key they provide is invalid. Opening a ticket with the site results in getting no reply. Reporting to them on social media results in them saying that they'll communicate with me in the future. That future has not yet arrived. Do not buy from Direct2Drive, if you really wish to give away money for nothing in return then give it to a charity instead.

Great Price and great service! I ordered Fallout: New Vegas Collector's Edition from them today, for the best price I've seen for a new game like this. As soon as you order, you check your account page and download the serial key to put into Steam. Voila! It doesn't get any easier than that! Great game, great price, plus the Digital collectors edition.

I think it's a fantastic service. I've used D2D for 3 years now, and have never been dissappointed with the speed of downloads, considering you're downloading an entire game, and the selection's great. I've only had one hangup when trying to redownload a game, but the problem was solved by their customer service within 24 hours. Since first trying it, the only other place I've purchased games from was Steam, and only then for games that I can't get through any place but Valve, or when games are on sale. Speaking of which, I think that's about the only thing I can say that D2D isn't good at, discounts on games that aren't old.

(the one issue I had was due to a demo version conflicting with the d2d version) Pricing is per the norm.A greater variety of seasonal sales than steam,and sometimes gets things quicker than steam.
