This company is a scam Ordered a bottle of gin for a Christmas present. I have been emailing Cask Cartel for 3 weeks due to the fact that it has still not been delivered (as of January 16th). Kept getting told "it is coming". Never arrived, never received shipping notification, and my last 2 emails to them received no response. So I finally disputed with my credit card. Merry Christmas to my friend who received nothing.

My wife identified an obscure liqueur… My wife identified an obscure liqueur made in the UK somewhere in her reading or travels. She emailed to ask if I might be able to locate an outlet for purchase. I found it at a couple of large east coat U.S. retailers, the closest of which was about 250 miles from where we reside. Neither outlet I found would ship to our address in upstate New York. Tried Cask Cartel who immediately accepted my order. My order was placed September 6. Today is September 11 and my wife picked up her liqueur shipped by Cask Cartel's 'fulfillment partner' (my term) this afternoon at our local FedEx office. Contents undamaged and product as ordered. Not a price bargain, but service quick and efficient in our case.

What I liked about them - Responded to questions within 24h - Delivered the exact item I ordered w/o substitutions What I did not like - Took all the money up front, I suspect this is because they buy it in the UK and have folks bring it over. So they need the money to buy first. - Took 45d to deliver - No progress update in between - Price is much higher than UK stores (but they do not ship to the US) Summary Use them for hard to find/unique items definitely not for items you can get at Bevmo or TotalWine. Their prices are much higher - 3x the price in the UK - but I suspect they have folks bring them here. So use only for special occasions.

Ripoff Their business model is to place very high prices on single bottle quantity hoping to fool buyers. Unfortunately it worked on me. $300 for a single $21 bottle of wine. They should spend less time writing insincere responses and more time making sure their prices represent fair value.

Price Gauging My wife purchased a bottle of rum for me as a birthday gift. She unfortunately didn't do her due diligence on the price. The Bottle (Dead Mans Fingers Coconut Rum) is listed on multiple sites for $20-$24. Cask Cartel charged $160 (excluding shipping) and has a ALL SALES ARE FINAL POLICY. Modern day price gouging at its best via a middle man distributor that exercises the law to its advantage by posting a legal disclaimer on its site.. BUYER BEWARE
