GBTook WAY too long to ship (30 days) Took WAY too long to ship (30 days). Not much response from customer service until I found one of the execs on Linked In. The shipping team put Bavarian pretzels at the bottom of the box and they were pretty much trashed when the box arrived. I’ve asked what can be done about it and have not received a reply. Considering cancellation of my membership.

GBProducts are unreal and I save… Products are unreal and I save tremendous amounts of money AND TIME using The Essential. I buy >50% of my housewares from The Essential.

GBThe merchandise itself is good, BUT The merchandise itself is good - once it finally arrives! Shipping estimates are always wrong, add two to three months minimum to what they list. It's a dark pattern, they have been in business long enough to have data that would allow for a truthful estimate. They certainly should have the capacity to proactively communicate delays. Sorry the essential, you've fooled me more than twice now - shame on me.

GBTerrible customer service well for a very short time this company seemed to get its act together WRONG. Placed last order on July 31 today is Sept. 14 contacted CS and after a late reply no dry ice really nothing listed on website. Finally shipped and tracking says damaged sent back. Now zero communication from CS cant call it customer service. What a shame good products crap for service. What could they do better well try customer service.

GBThe Essential went the extra mile! I've been an a customer of The Essential since they launched as Move Grocery back in 2020. Loved their expansion and growth ever since, and have been a consistent customer since the beginning. For the first time, several months ago, I had an issue with an order that promised 1-3 week shipping that eventually stretched into 3 months. Their customer service staff worked with me literally every few weeks to try and get me my order, which I finally received this week. Their consistent responses and assistance finally paid dividends. I am so impressed with their engagement, support and effort - they turned a potentially negative experience into a reaffirmation of the company. The Essential did a great job. And I love everything that they offer. Check them out if you haven't already, you will not be disappointed!
