GBSNUG is a great service! I have used SNUG for several years and I love it! Living alone and not seeing people often (such as in the pandemic) I wanted to be sure that if something happened to me there would be a way to get help. SNUG does that, easily. Recently I was without my mobile phone and couldn't check in using the app. I sent an email and immediately received a response including a way to check in using a different phone or land line. It worked out just fine. Not only is the SNUG service excellent, but it's free, and the customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend it.

GBGreat App I was referred to the Snug app during a serious domestic violence situation and it has truly made me AND my family feel a sense of security - if anything were to happen, someone would know. I can't thank Snug enough for helping me feel safe in a crazy situation. Thank you, Snug!

GBGreat app - nice to feel safe at home! I love the Snug app. It allowed me to have several check in times each day and it has notifications to remind me to check in. I appreciate having the peace of mind from knowing that my emergency contacts would be called if I didn't check in. Their customer service is very responsive and super nice folks.

GBAnyone else find it weird that Snug App… Anyone else find it weird that Snug App had a handful of positive reviews in 2019, then one or two in 2020 through 2023, and suddenly beginning at the end of 2023 (Nov/Dec) and beginning of 2024 they have like 25 five star reviews? Someone trying to make their app look better than it is perhaps?? I signed up for Snug this weekend (free account), and my “emergency contacts” I put in have yet to receive the notification they were supposed to receive that they have been added (3 days later). I have not yet received a single text from Snug, or any confirmation that I am set up with them, though I have been checking in every day since I signed up three days ago. Tomorrow I will “skip” my check-in to find out: Do they actually text you to remind you? Do they actually contact your emergency contacts? Right now I am fairly dubious, based on the reviews I read and their (lack of) action so far.

GBOn my own but not alone I love Snug. I am 68, live alone, and work part time. So I am often on my own. Snug works so well that on the rare occasions when I don't check in because my phone battery dies or I oversleep, the operators are on it in minutes; on the one occasion where my emergency contact did not respond, I was visited by local law enforcement. I felt embarassed for wasting his time but comforted beyond measure. The officer immediately assured me that it was not a waste of his time.
