GBAnyone else find it weird that Snug App… Anyone else find it weird that Snug App had a handful of positive reviews in 2019, then one or two in 2020 through 2023, and suddenly beginning at the end of 2023 (Nov/Dec) and beginning of 2024 they have like 25 five star reviews? Someone trying to make their app look better than it is perhaps?? I signed up for Snug this weekend (free account), and my “emergency contacts” I put in have yet to receive the notification they were supposed to receive that they have been added (3 days later). I have not yet received a single text from Snug, or any confirmation that I am set up with them, though I have been checking in every day since I signed up three days ago. Tomorrow I will “skip” my check-in to find out: Do they actually text you to remind you? Do they actually contact your emergency contacts? Right now I am fairly dubious, based on the reviews I read and their (lack of) action so far.

GBOn my own but not alone I love Snug. I am 68, live alone, and work part time. So I am often on my own. Snug works so well that on the rare occasions when I don't check in because my phone battery dies or I oversleep, the operators are on it in minutes; on the one occasion where my emergency contact did not respond, I was visited by local law enforcement. I felt embarassed for wasting his time but comforted beyond measure. The officer immediately assured me that it was not a waste of his time.

GBI recommend snug safe to my senior… I recommend snug safe to my senior clients who live alone. Especially if family members live out of town, the peace of mind is worthwhile.

One of my clients told me about the app and I shared with all of my family and friends. I absolutely love this app. It is a great piece of mind for me and my family and friends.

GBHappy Customer I recently got the Snug app. I have the free option where I choose one time to check in every day. I've been using it about a week or so and one time I intentionally did not check in to make sure my emergency contacts were notified. Exactly 10 minutes after my check in time that I did not check in, on purpose, Snug texted my emergency contacts. So far I am very happy with the free option of one time check-in via text messaging. Eventually I may go to the pay option where they will contact you via a dispatcher and if they don't hear from you they will leave a voicemail to your phone. If you do not call them back then the dispatcher will contact your emergency contacts twice. Either way I am pretty happy with the snug app and I'm going to stay with them for the foreseeable future. I live alone and I have a pet so having this feature gives me peace of mind. Please give them a try.
