GBAVOID AVOID AVOID lots of reaearch. This 'care' company in my experience was totally inaquate. They failed my Mum in not providing meals, left food to go bad. I had to prompt them in almost all espects of basic care requirements for my Mum. They were useless and staff changed far too often. Care staff wages very poor compared to other care companies. I changed to a far better company called 'Second to None'....total turn around for my Mum...I didnt need to supervise them. There isn't an option to provide zero stars

IEAbsolutely shocking experience Absolutely shocking experience. Worked with them 3 years, a waste of 3 years, horrible coworkers, management handling and people/staff skills are brutal, constant issues with pay, would never work with this company again and would certainly advise against having loved one cared for by them!

GBAwful Company. Avoid working for them or using them. Have worked for this company for a while. Terrible training, incompetent management, badly organised, under paid and erratic hours. Don’t care one bit about their staff and employ half wits who couldn’t look after a goldfish rather than a person. Can’t divide work up properly, move people around clients so they can’t develop a bond and tell lies when a client doesn’t want them anymore or asks for a new cared. I wouldn’t have them near a relative of mine.

GBAppalling standard of carer, creating risk and causing distress We were truly appalled by the standard of care and the behaviour of the carer. At the basic level, she failed to attend to water intake, leading to dehydration. She put her client at risk by undertaking an ‘outing’ which appeared to suit her social preferences, rather than the needs of her client. She drank alcohol, whilst on duty. We would NEVER use Home Instead again and we warn others to be careful about the calibre of carer that they may send

GBHome Instead Care - Rip Off My elderly mother with Alzheimer's got home instead care from 16th January 2024. Unfortunately she went into hospital on 17th Feb 2024 and ended up in a nursing home so home instead had to be cancelled from that date. Whilst I cannot fault the carers that came to see mum for a total of 4 hours only per week I think the company are greedy as my mum has ended up paying £1502 for a total of 20 hours care as she had to pay an initial £200 registration fee and had to pay for 30 days after she went into hospital for no carers caring for her. Rip off company.
