Blick approved face coverings I was browsing for acetate tracing film wearing a PA state approved face shield. The store representative informed me that it was not acceptable even though the Pennsylvania CDC web site states that it is acceptable. He stated that only a cloth mask is store policy and told me I HAD to wear a cloth type covering. Which indicates that Blick does NOT follow PA CDC guidelines. He then walked away and did not bother to ask how he could assist me. I left the store and shopped for my art supplies somewhere else.

Blick's Art Supplies is fabulous! Unfortunately there is no Dick Blick's store near me, so I work with them via online orders. I've been ordering from them for almost six years and found them consistently excellent in price, quality of product, and superb customer service. After dozens of orders I've had exactly ONE order that wasn't correct--and that one was immediately fixed when I contacted customer service. Blick's has some of the best online customer service out there. It's my go-to place for art supplies of all kinds.

I ordered some premium stretcher and… I ordered some premium stretcher and crossbars from Blicks and they emailed me because my order did not add up. Come to find out I ordered the wrong size crossbars for my order and they caught it, and corrected it. Their emails to me where prompt, within the day, and I really appreciate the extra help they gave me on my questions and my order.

Dick Blick uses Fedex Dick Blick uses Fedex. Fedex fails to deliver packages to my address, although UPS delivers every day. When told Dick Blick was told my order had been delayed several days beyond its stated delivery date, Dick Blick was unconcerned. Each morning, I'm told the order is on the truck. Each afternoon, I'm told that the order is delayed due to 'operational issues'. (Strangely, Fedex changes this to 'unable to deliver' later.) I will find another online art store that cares about their customers.

The package arrived in astonishing condition and was well handled. affordable, but I paid more for shipping than the products. I think it's because I live in Canada. This is quite sad because, as mentioned earlier, their products are affordable. Please work to make international shipping more affordable.
