TH is the best way to get pet/house care We've had three pet sitters through Trusted Housesitters in the last three years, and each time has gone swimmingly well. Each time we felt 100% confident that the sitters were trustworthy and conscientious about caring for our pet and house, and each time our confidence was rewarded by an excellent experience. Our cat is an indoor-outdoor cat, and with the last sitters he refused to come inside one night. The sitters immediately contacted us and we worked together on a solution. They'd already cracked our garage door so the cat would have a safe place to come in even if he didn't want to go back into the house. The sitters set up a bed, litter box and food for him in the garage, and he returned to eat the food. But the sitters (and we) wanted him safely inside the house. Our vet suggested a place to rent a cat trap, which the pet sitters went to get and set up. Overnight, our cat was safely trapped ... and lost his outdoor privileges until we returned home! I will continue to be a Trusted Housesitter member because TH does such a good job vetting members so that both parties have a good experience.

TRUSTED HOUSE SITTERS=THE worst customer service. Do not expect help from customer service if you are a sitter. Its AI and off shore script readers. HORRIBLE customer service. I had a host try to rent to me. and another host's landlord upstairs, physcially and verbally abuse me and a few sits cancel last minute with responses from THS- like: " we understand the inconvenience" and encourage to look for other sitting opportunities on our site" Have you ever tried finding a 6 week sit in 24 hrs. People plan ahead. THS does not hold hosts liable. It's not a pet/housesitting service .. its a tech platform offering the service.

Reliable customer service! Very pleased with the customer service and the insurance policy of Trusted Houssesitters. They actually do what they promise when a house sitter cancels with a short notice (less than 2 weeks before). They paid the fees for a professional kennel when my confirmed house sitter canceled due to an unpredictable event. I am glad that I chose the premium membership.

Great concept for people with pets who like to travel My wife and I have used TrustedHousesitters many times over the past three years, and each time we have been very happy with our sitters. We meet interesting people and consider some of them good friends now. It's a great concept that saves us a ton of money. Our dogs hate kennel stays and are much happier staying home with competent and loving caregivers. It's also reassuring that someone is in our house; if something goes wrong they can take care of it immediately. I should mention the tremendous cost savings over paying for a kennel or paying local dog/housesitters. We often get additional savings by asking our TrustedHousitters to provide airport transportation for us as well. The website is sometimes a little hard to navigate but that's my only complaint. I love this concept that makes our trips much less stressful. We would not be able to travel as much as we do without Trusted HouseSitters.
