GBGood customer service My item was backordered which I saw when ordering. Once I purchased I received an email from the company just letting me know it was on backorder in case I hadn't noticed prior. I appreciated this as it is a rare gesture. Item still arrived within a week so I was impressed either way.

GBBAD CUSTOMER SERVICES! DISAPPOINTED They have really bad customer services and it seems they don't know how to communicate with customers. Ordered a Snow Peak table but it seemed to be defected or returned because it has a few cosmetic wears on it. So I asked to get partial refund in order to skip return process for both me and them. But they just keep saying it's what it is and it's not returned item. Sounded like I was lying to them. Fine, will return it.

GBGreat company and products Great company and products. I ordered the Marmot Minimalist jacket, it was back ordered do to the sale they were having. But I received an email right after my purchase letting me know when it would be re-stocked. I received the jacket faster than I was expecting. Very fast shipping and great communication. Will be purchasing from this sit again. Thank you.

GBCredit card compromised twice after using Backcountry Gear. I have ordered from Backcountry Gear on two separate occasions (about a year apart). On both occasions, within about a month after purchasing from them, my credit card was used for fraudulent purchases. I had to get a new card issued both times. I stopped ordering from Backcountry Gear and have not had a problem since. I don't use my credit card for daily purchases (mainly online). I continue to order from Moosejaw, Backcountry, and Amazon and have not had any problems. Someone at Backcountry Gear was not trustworthy.

GBOh my goodness Warren from customer… Oh my goodness Warren from customer service is amazing!!! I had a problem with an order that USPS lost and I called Backcountry gear after getting no where with the US Postal Service and Amazon. Although the entire fault falls on USPS, Warren stepped up and got the job done. I greatly appreciate the excellent customer service he delivered!
