Sent to Milton Keynes for repair. 3 times service centre repaired it, new battery, reprogrammed and new board, each time same problem. Now awaiting refund department on offer amount, could take weeks / months. So far 6 weeks have passed. Hope you have better luck with your LG phone

GBDoes not upgrade What went wrong was my phone is supposed to upgrade to an OS 13 and will not upgrade past OS 10. I contacted my provider who actually figured out what is wrong with my phone. When I called LG they offered to do a call back at the number I provided, which never happened. When I called them back I was immediately disconnected. The number I was provided earlier to call them back at ended up being a fake number which could not be answered and I received a message with an apology. This company owes me a replacement warranty phone. And they are doing everything they can to get out of doing that. The phone is not capable of upgrading to what they claimed it would do.

GBAt one time lg phones were just fine At one time lg phones were just fine, I preferred them to Samsung at one point but my how times change. Most recently lg phones have turned into complete crap, if a phone is somewhat difficult or confusing they usually have a way of becoming easier to use over time but my recent piece o crap is just worthless, it has an ejector seat where for no reason your instantly removed from your read or search back to where you started. I've been so tempted to smash it many times and one day... Well it's happening unless I get rid of it soon!!!

DKLG G8 Sound and Battery LG G8 Did take several times of loosing on the ground without damage. Sound from the speaker is MUCH better on my 3 years older LG V20. Sound from the headphones also better on the old phone, according to Tidal support LG changed their software so the quad DAC is not supported any more. Might be reinstalled in a future update, if we are lucky. WORSE is the fact that LG is making the phone unusable after 2? years, since it is dangerous and difficult to change the battery. Se "Jerryrigeverything" on YouTube dismantling the phone. This is simply not OK, and there is no reason at all it should be necessary. I do care about longevity and environment.

GBThis is my first & last LG product This is my first LG product, and my last, ever. If they can't get a handheld appliance correct why would I buy anything else? At first I honestly thought I got a lemon, but each time I searched, I found I was not alone. The phone has so many problems I can't even list them: the same memory availability limitations Jeff mentions, connection problems, bloatware that can't be removed, menus that are different from standard search results, tech support is constantly blaming Verizon, and the list goes on. Sorry LG, but life is just too short to be frustrated by 18 sq in of technology that has the nerve to call itself a "smart" phone.
