Wobbly start, happily resolved I ordered the three skirt bundle, two maxi, one mini and requested my colour preferences. The skirts took some time to arrive and I was pleased with the maxis, beautiful fabrics but the mini was disappointing. I noticed a really unpleasant odour from them when I took them out of the packaging to try them on and wanted to wash my hands after handling them. I decided to wash them all and when wet and hung on the line to dry, I could see the mini was full of snags. I emailed them to complain and was impressed with their response, keep the damaged one and they’d send a fee replacement. I was asked to choose length and colour. The replacement arrived and is really lovely. I love wearing the skirts and feel they’re unique so although the first bundle was smelly and damaged, I can’t fault the customer service! All’s well that ends well.

These skirts spark Joy! Received 3 wrap skirts all were in the colours I specified and the colours and patterns were well matched and interesting. Really feel like I got 6 skirts as I love the reverses just as much. Material was mainly silk or else nice satiny acrylic. A few little holes had been skilfully patched with a mirrored sequin which did not detract from the overall appearance of any skirt. I feel Darn Good delivered on its mission to recycle textiles and benefit workers in India. I look forward to wearing these colourful skirts joyfully and mindfully in the upcoming Australian summertime.

Not very pleased, at all 🙁 I was very excited to be purchasing a refurbished silk sari from artisans. Nope. Refurbished is one thing, stains and snags and holes is something else entirely Also, as someone who sews, I am very saddened by the quality of the work. The seams are sloppy, the stitching is sloppy, threads hanging, folds are wadded and bunches in places. Very little care or pride was taken when this skirt was sewn. I do feel that my choice of anything but yellow was considered and the material and patterns are nice. The fabric is NOT sari silk, though. One side is a polyester blend and the other a thin , loosely woven cotton. I’ll be purchasing my next sari somewhere else. 🙁
