GBRedbud Tree Order I ordered two Eastern Redbuds, paid for a warranty, and asked that they please choose full, well-shaped trees. They arrived with leaves full of black spots and holes. One's shape was okay, the other was scrawny, with a trunk that wasn't straight, and with a weird, sparse branch pattern that formed a "V" instead of being well spread and full. It was truly pathetic. I called and complained, and they deflected my concerns, telling me the black spots were cosmetic (they looked very much like fungus to me) and that I should wait to see how the tree fills out in spring. I found this absolutely unsatisfactory!

GBBuyer beware!! Buyer beware!!! Do not go to this company! You will lose all your money and never get your products or only partial delivery. The customer service is horrible and they do not care if you didn't receive your product. It doesn't even matter if you have the insurance!!! Buy your plants somewhere else.
Dear Customer
GBI had 3 years of good experience until… I had 3 years of good experience until October. I paid for the grass seed they recommended & it was delivered(50lbs.)to a neighbors home on a different street, blocking the front door the day of her daughter's wedding. My neighbor was understandably furious. I got my wheelbarrow & hauled it up to my house. I called FEDEX they said plantingtree paid for shipping to contact them. So late on Friday afternoon nothing happened-ever. The seed never germinated like before(only clover). The latest from plantingtree is I had been using the wrong seed for 4 years.

GBFantastic quality Fantastic quality, fast shipping. I was leary to order online, but the Royal Purple Smoke Tree 3 Gallon and the Bloodgood Japanese Maple 4-5 Feet were in pristine condition and had been packaged extremely well! A few reviews mentioned "pricy," but I don't think so. This business and its products rate 5-star value! My new favorite green house!! Thank You!

GBUnhappy Plant Arrived For Friend's Birthday Gift The plant is alive, but the tips were cut off, the root ball was much smaller than the container, and leaves were falling off. May have even been some dead branches (this plant shipped to a friend as a gift). So far, I am unimpressed, but hopefully they will offer some sort of compensation. So far they have been responsive but are requiring evidence rather than immediately trying to make it right. I splurged for a "large" plant and my friend received a dinky, unhappy one for her birthday. :(
