GBDo not order from this company.... I have ordered from other mail order garden supply stores and this was absolutely the worst experience. Plant packaged poorly, 3 arrived dead, one badly broken and with mildew. Another died during the summer. Out of 10 plants ordered, only a Hibiscus Purple Pillar seems to be doing okay. When I called to request replacement or refund, they were very uncooperative and pretended not to understand what I was requesting. This spring will tell whether any of their plants survived our relatively mild winter here in the Chicago area. Awful product, horrible customer service. Never again. Stay away.

GBNo updates, 1/2 of the plants did not survive No shipping updates, even after an email inquiry; The order was split into two deliveries, and two charges. The first delivery was almost dead on arrival, the second is holding on. My mother in law felt bad about telling me this gift had died, or I would have contacted Wayside. She tried very hard to save the plants, but they didn't live. Sadly, of course, it was the more expensive part of the order. I just think I wouldn't order again given that, and the lack of communication after purchase.

GBWatch out Watch out! Unlike most other companies I have ordered from, Wayside Gardens does not guarantee their plants will live. Four out of nine plants died over the winter (I am in an approved zone). Not only did I pay WAY too much for such a small plant (found them locally this spring for the same price for a much larger and established bush), but Wayside Gardens refused to give me any kind of credit or replacement. Go to your local shops folks, even the home improvement stores in my town have better quality!

GBDiscerning tastes! Wayside Gardens always has quality stock with good, strong root systems. After planting, in one week you are amazed how the plants have grown (with a little help of liquid fertilizer at planting time). This year, I purchased several "combos" (during "free shipping"events), designed for container gardening. They were shipped a month ago, and they are now three (3) times larger and blooming profusely! I have a customized look, making my property unique, versus what the big name store offers. Choose/trust Wayside for providing selections you can't find elsewhere, as well as good customer service!
